“Good for what you pay for”

It is a good hotel not too bad, The rooms should be better taken care of. Such as the towels and slippers and axcesseries. But for the money it was ok not too bad ... Not excellent though

“wonderful value, great position.”

great value for money hotel, good facilities in a fantastic position. up-date in bathrooms required soon, but o.k. at the price. cleanliness superb.staff 5-star.have been twice and would love to go back soon.

Getting around
use the dolmus bus service its cheap and good.

“Quiet with a great view”

It was a pleasure to spend some time in the Azka Hotel and enjoy their facilities, especially the buffet supper and breakfast which were included in the low price. A wonderful promotional value which I hope to enjoy again at some future date.

“Wonderful experience”

Great location, very friendly staff, who went above and beyond the call of duty, fantastic food. Azka Hotel was far better than had been described to us and we can't wait to return.

Getting around
The water taxi is a great way to get into central Bodrum. It is a short walk to the dock and runs 15 hours a day , 7 days a week. The best 5 Lira you will spend.

“good but boaring”

the hotel location and cleanness was so good. the foods was middle. aircondition of rooms was good but in loby was no aircondition.the most thing that i was not satisfied was that the hotel was so boaring, no music, no happy programs, but in next door hotel everything was exiciting. that we said it would be better that we chose that one!!!this hotel was good for old silent people.the price was reosanable.the beach was so near.

“lovely hotel.”

Excellent, friendly hotel. Hotel is out of the centre of Bodrum but a small regular ferry runs which is very convenient and cheap. Not "allowed" to take bottled water in to the hotel.

“Good hotel location”

Good hotel and good location but the weakness is that majority of the staff donor talk or understand English. So we had problem with the communication with them. Other than this every thing is ok. Azka hotel have a wonderful beach and swimming pool. Also they have good spa. Food is wonderful.

“3 star with good pool and beach”

Hotel is ok if you like resort packages, advertised as 5 star but rooms are 3 star, no iron and iron board, no tea and coffee making facilities in rooms, minibars are almost empty. There is a shop 1 mins walk away, I got stopped by hotel security and asked to see my bags, then they pointed out a sign 'no beverage and food to be taken into hotel'. The hotel desk staff are good, wifi Internet connection is good throughout hotel, pool and beach are properly the best your going to get in bodrum.

“Will definitely go back and stay longer.”

What I can't get over is the price. I really don't know how they could afford to keep doing it all for only so few Canadian dollars per night. I would have expected less service and less quality. But the service was very good and very friendly and the food was very good, although somewhat limited in choices. However, it was just like eating at home.

Area recommendations
The central bay area of Bodrum is truly the best. The other areas of Bodrum basically shut down for the winter months and there is little to do or see. However, the bay where this hotel is located is very lively even though there are few tourists around. Just a great place to park your butt for a couple of weeks or even months.
When to go
I have been to Bodrum before and was not all that happy. It appeared too touristy to me then. This time in January, it was just perfect. We are not beach people, we like to walk and be active. So the temperature this time of the year is just perfect for walking, touring, sight seeing and tennis. If you are a beach person, I would not recommend going this time of year.
