"Absolutely Fantastic !"
Excellent location - it's walking distance from the theatres, museums and many other London sights (we stayed there after seeing a show nearby). Rooms were not huge, but perfectly laid out and beautifully finished. Only downside was at night the room was a tad on the dark-side . . . It would've benefited from an extra lighting option for when you were getting ready (and your wife was hogging the bathroom !) The hotel itself is well kitted-out, with plenty of facilities and places to sit/eat/drink/relax. My only negative observation was that one of the lifts was out of order during our stay (staff were very apologetic over this) . . no major issue for us as we were both equipped with two working legs and happy to take the stairs if the wait for the remaining lift was longer than we wanted to wait. All the staff seemed genuinely happy to help and were very friendly - I can't stress this enough. I could write more but I'll just say that's it's well-worth the stay, in my opinion . . . Both the wife and I will be returning later this year without a doubt and I'd recommend it to anyone.

Pocket Guide: London Bloomsbury Marriott Hotels

The fashionable residential district of Bloomsbury in central London, dotted with hushed Georgian garden squares, has drawn famous writers and philosophers through the centuries. Virginia Woolf and the Bloomsbury Set redefined the 20th-century novel here, and being the seat of the British Library and the British Museum, it was also where Charles Darwin formulated his historic theory of evolution.
