Overall the hotel was nice. It was walking distance from the train station in case you don't want to drive. The cottage was clean, but a little shabby. There was NO AC. And on the hot day or night it was really hot. But the stuff was friendly and provided us with fans.

Lovely hosts and the room was clean and comfortable. The new owners have obviously been working hard to make improvements and modernise the motel. The beds were very comfortable and warm, with hotel style bedding. The motel was central and easy to find which was great as we arrived very late. It was a short walk down to the main street of Blackheath where we found a great cafe for breakfast, with excellent coffee! Would recommend.

Kubba Roonga is a comfortable, relaxing place in the charming town of Blackheath. Chris and Graham are very careful caretakers of the house and attend to every detail. We especially enjoyed the fireplace and lounge area (especially on rainy evenings), the complimentary port and always-available tea and good coffee. The breakfast is generous, though the same foods are offered every morning. Chris is talkative and eager to answer questions about the area, where to hike, which restaurants he'd recommend, etc. Overall, it was a good experience to stay there.

My husband and I wanted an adventurous start to the New Year. We chose Secrets because it had great amenities (spa tub, kitchenette) and the price was reasonable. André (the owner) was a wealth of information and even let us borrow some DVDs along with his recommendations. We will definitely return with more family in tow.
At the heart of the Blue Mountains is the village of Blackheath, with the numerous cafes, restaurants, and nearby bush giving the town undying natural allure. Canyoners and rockclimbers base themselves in the quaint town, which is surrounded by numerous canyons, walking tracks, and lookouts, allowing visitors to grab hold of everything the Blue Mountains has to offer.
