Our stay was good - we liked our room and it was very clean. However, the woman who checked us in was not the most ambitious or friendly. She just stared at me when I went to check in and it should have been pretty obvious I was there to check in and if she was unsure, ASK. The elevator at this hotel is in need of some work and does not stop closing even if something is in the way. My 2-year-old stuck his hand in the door and it started closing on it. We got it out and he is okay, but he was screaming and crying and it was very scary. The same lady from the front desk again just looked at us. She never said anything or asked if he was okay or if we needed anything. I won't forget that.

We had a great stay at the Comfort Inn at Black River Falls. The room was clean and ready when we arrived. We asked for extra sheets for the pull out bed and got them right away. The kids had an absolute blast in the pool.

Good Hotel to stay in
The staff were friendly and the hotel was clean. The rooms were comfortable. The best part for me was the breakfast, they had fresh eggs and potatoes with bacon or sausages. Plus enough other foods to make most people happy.

Disgusting
I do not know how this hotel has a rating of 8/10. Our room was terrible, the hot tub broken, and the breakfast institutional. There was no shower curtain in the bathroom. There was a shower chair (ADA room) that held a moldy cushion. The door to the bathroom looked as if someone had tried to kick it in. The furniture was beaten up and the refrigerator dented. The beds were hard as pavement. The carpet was damp. A TERRIBLE place to stay.
