“Calm and nice”

Very good location in the centre of the city. Safety district. Easy to reach from the airport. Nearby two station and metro. Good hospitality. Very good restaurant in the hotel.

“Very nice place to stay”

Service was great. Staff were very keen to meet all of our needs. Breakfast was lovely and not expensive. Would definitely stay there again.

Stayed at the Thistle Birmingham over the weekend to see a trade show. Great price and we were very impressed with the value of the hotel. Furnishings and rooms were just above average and very clean. Great value.

“Smart Hotel”

Smart hotel, only complaint is that I was given a very small double bedroom. OK for one night, but any longer and I'd have got cabin fever.

For location to the centre of the city and the price I was extremely satisfied. I had previously read reviews and was informed that the hotel needed some updating but I thought that the hotel was nice and clean with a great bar and friendly service. I would definitely go back

Tired 1970's block by a busy roundabout / road and a massive building site. Rooms ok but small. Room decor ok but don't expect any contemporary look. Very much a 3 Star (at best) from yesteryear. Convenient for city centre. Go if you get a really good rate otherwise give it a miss.
