“Lots of room”

Loved the room! Felt more like being at home than anywhere I have stayed. If you want lots of room and quiet, this is the place. If you want coffee (not decaf) or soap and shampoo then this is not the place for you! If you like your pillows more than pancakes, this is not the place for you! Loved having the balcony to smoke on in the non smoking room. If the ice maker had worked in the fridge (since there is no ice machine) then the stay would have been great! The breakfast was one of the best I've had in a while. Great place for an extended stay!

“No thanks”

I don't know what year the hotel opened but it may have the original carpet. It was vacuumed and appeared clean but there were definitely battle scars all around. The bedding was also pretty worn and not very comfortable. BYOS, Bring Your Own Soap/Shampoo. A soap dispenser in the shower?? That was a first. Overall the room was presentable but not a place I would recommend or return to. It was probably a great place to stay "back in the day".

“Not Impressed”

Kind of a run down old place. My room was huge but it was very hot and took over 3 hours to cool down. The quality of furniture was excellent tho - beds were hard. Once in the day this was a top notch place - now.... not so much.

“couldn't wait to leave”

Hotel was dark and creepy. The door was unlocked on arrival, and combined with the dark stairwell, it seemed unsafe. Room was large, but blanket had a big hotel, and just the oveall sense was creapiness.

“close to EWTN”

Hotel staff were polite, pleasant, accomodating, and hospitable. outside of hotel could use some work. Concrete around pool and accomodations should be repaired and cleaned. Leave coffee available for guests -early risers. If you plant to visit EWTN, it is just up the road. I hope to return next year, but hope the grounds will be improved. It is called Rime Gardens There is so much potential for garden flowers to dress up and improve the grounds. The grounds back up into a wooded area on a hill. It could be so lovely.

“Okay”

The service was not to my statifaction. I was told that there was not a room available until I went to Expedia then I found this one.

“"Only slept there."”

It was a nice hotel to sleep at. We were not there long enough to actually use the sitting area or kitchen. The bathroom door was broken and would not shut all the way and the a/c unit was loud as it turned off. Other than that, we would stay again.

excellent location, beautiful landscaping, quiet, private, 1 minute from expressway, almost like staying in a private community
