“Great location”

The hotel was ideally situated for the Cricket ground but also for other places in Birmingham. Easy to find with plenty of parking, which made our weekend trouble-free.No noise at night so we slept well too.

“Simply Brilliant!”

This was purely a last minute excursion to Birmingham & we were more than pleasantly surprised with the Hotel, area-location in relation to town, staff, breakfast, our room & bar. Every one we met in the Quality Hotel & outside were really frienfly & helpful. We would definitely use this hotel again. Thank you Expedia!

“Quality Hotel Birmingham”

Second stay. They still can't get the room booking correct, as double was booked, and was given a twin. However second room was fine. Nice leisure centre. Lovely decked patio and beer garden.

“Quality Hotel, Hagley Road”

A hotel of variable quality. This and past visits have shown that room comfort depends on whereabouts the room is located rather than the price you pay. In fact, on 1 previous visit, I actually changed from a room being used as a store by decorators! This visit was the poorest room so far, but the location is perfect for my needs and the swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna make it far preferable to a supposed better hotel "across the road". I will stay there again, and know that I just have to take potluck regarding the room itself.

“Glad I chose here for 1 night stay”

Was quite worried whether I had chosen the right hotel given the mixed reviews and the hotel name itself. As we were staying for just one night and for its price, I feel it was very good value. We had the family room in the wing through the glass walkway. It was on ground floor but was quiet. The room was spacious and clean. The public areas are very nice - i love the breakfast room, we sat in the window section overlooking the huge garden. The buffet breakfast was lovely. The only one thing that I can fault is the bathroom - or rather, its lack of lighting (very dimly lit). The shower is fantastic - makes mine at home seem like a dripping tap. Shame it's going into administration, which explains its tired state and the beginnnings of neglect. I don't really have any complaints - we got more than we expected for the price. Overall, for short or 1 night stays - absolutely perfect!

“you get what you pay for”

we read several terrible reviews for this hotel so were pleasantly surprised. some areas of the hotel were in bad condition ie mould in bathroom and the swimming pool was in need of a refurb but considering the price we would stay again.

“Value For Money - No Frills Hotel”

The Hotel was good value for money - The staff made an effort to be friendly but you could tell it wasn't genuine but only because they had to. Overall it was good for one night stay. I would reccommend to anyone on a low budget.

“Good Value and Location”

I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights, for the Ashes Test. It was very good value for what we paid, the staff were all excellent. We had some minor issues with the hot water plumbing, but there was enough to get by. The main restaurant was shut in the evenings, but the bar menu was more than adequate. The hotel is a 10 minute bus ride (very frequent service from outside hotel) or 25 minute walk from Broad Street Clubs / Pubs. Also had a really nice garden, shame that it rained so much! Would definately stay again.
