“Nice, new hotel”

The Microtel Inn & Suites Birmingham/Hoover was very nice. The beds were really, really comfortable. The continental breakfast was less than expected, so we went next door to the Embassy Suites. Embassy Suites offered a lovely breakfast buffet.

“Happy at Microtel of Hoover”

The location turned out to be perfect. We loved the layout of the room. amenities were just what we needed. The staff was the most courteous & friendly we can remember having, never seeing a staff member that didn't smile and engage conversation.

No particular area; had good experiences at several areas in the Hoover/Birmingham area

Great trip to CHEESECAKE FACTORY , which was wonderful & enjoyed Zekes BBQ with great White sauce.

“Great hotel for the price!”

Very friendly staff! We had a little issue with our first room and they were quick to get us a new room with no problems. Room was nice and comfortable. Breakfast bar was adequate and clean. We will use Microtel more often is they are all like this..

“Very impressive Hotel”

I would like to say that we were very satisfied with our hotel stay. The service was friendly and helpful. The condition/cleanliness of the hotel and rooms was great!! It is in a great location and the surrounding area has lots of shopping and dining. We had just stayed in the Microtel in Muscle Shoals a few weeks ago. If I could change anything about this stay (In Hoover) it would be the breakfast. The one in Muscle Shoals has waffles. My daughter was a little disappointed, but we would still stay again. Very reasonable rates. Thanks

Area recommendations

We were playing in a volleyball tournament and didn't get to shop a lot. However, there are several shopping areas. Also, dining is not an issue. Lots of different places to eat.

“Microtel Inn & Suites Birmingham/Hoover”

The staff was very nice. It took me a call to the hotel for me to find it. The rooms are clean and small....each room has computer connections. I would recommend this motel for a one night stay. Again, the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Thanks for arranging my stay.

Area recommendations

I went to a funeral so I didn't travel around. The area in which I stayed was very nice with many places for shopping and eating. They are working on the interstate around there which was stop and go at times. (I-20)

“Great stay for a great price!”

As the name of the hotel implies, the room was very small. But it was incredibly comfortable and clean! It was small, but not cramped. They did a great job of utilizing all the available space in the room. The style was very modern and everything looked new. The staff was polite, and check-in took about ten seconds. I would definitely stay at this hotel again in the future, especially for such a great price!

“Small but OK”

The room for our first night stay was extremely small. Decided to get a different room for the second night stay and it was much better. Customer service was good, rooms were clean.
