“Hyatt Regency Birmingham - great stay !”

This is a very comfortable Hotel with extremely high standards and attention to detail throughout. The staff were superb and made a real effort to make our stay extra special. The only problem Which we encountered was that surprisingly we experienced quite a lot of noise from the nearby bars, clubs and restaurants, even though we were up on the 12th floor.

“Great for the center of Birmingham”

perfect location for the NIA, ICC and the centre of Birmingham. The hotel is clean and the staff are really friendly. We only ate breakfast in the hotel but it was good and a nice selection. We also tried the spa which was everything you'd expect.

“Fantastic hotel”

Very helpful friendly staff, no car parking at the hotel but a multi storey is available around the corner, which the concierge gave us a lift to in the hotel minibus free of charge, which was a nice touch. Fantastic views we stayed on the 17th floor Would definatly book this hotel again

“Excellent hotel”

The hotel was excellent. In general the style, feel and comfort of the hotel was excellent. From the front door welcome by the Concierge team to the checkout procedure everything was very good indeed. We upgraded to the Regency Club option and it was excellent. The only feedback of a negative nature was that elements of the breakfast in the Regency Club was not quite as fresh as it could have been. Saying that the service from the staff was exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble... I would not hesitate to stay there again and to praise and recommend the hotel to others.

“Top Marks from a disabled traveller”

As a disabled person this hotel is one I would highly rate. From the moment I arrived at reception I can honestly say every one of the staff treated me as an individual. I had asked when I booked with Expedia if I could have a room with facilities for a disable person, I got a large room with a bathroom/shower room equiped out for a disabled person. The only draw back was in the chairs etc in the room were low and some times difficult for me to get out of in a hurry but a small point. if I had asked I should think the hotel would have changed them. The restuarant manager was more than helpfull, get a nice table for me and always seeing I had the correst food etc, and would help me get to or when leaving the dinning room full marks Costa. Jinnel at reception got to know me and she was always willing to help as were the other receptionist. Finally room service was just as good with my breakfast always arriving on time and taken in and checked over. Wonderful hotel and so easy to get to the Symphany Hall which was my main reason to be visiting Birmingham.

“Best hotel in Birmingham centre, great facilities”

I hadn't stayed in the Hyatt Regency since the early 1990s, but stayed in other hotels in Birmingham and this one is still the best. This Hyatt hasn't changed all that much in 20 years besides the refurbished Amala club spa and pool area, which is wonderful. I paid a bit more for a Club Level room right at the top of the hotel on the 24th floor and it was worth it.The room was twins beds and was average size, I expected a lot more spacious and bathroom wasn't that big, either, but I never use the shower because I showered in the ladies changing rooms after a swim and spa session. The Club Lounge on the 23rd floor serves fresh fruit, a selection of teas and coffees, fruit juices and snacks all day. I had dinner in the lounge at no extra charge and it was very good. There was a choice of hot dishes, delicious desserts, cheeses and drinks. Continental breakfast is served from 7am until 10.30 and it was more than enough to set the day, I didn't need a full cooked breakfast in the restaurant which is an expensive extra charge. I requested hot chocolate made with soya milk and it was brought to me very quickly. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend the Hyatt for anyone wanting to stay in Birmingham city centre, but wanting a bit of luxury included in the stay. The leisure club, gym and swimming pool are all very good, cocktail bar is open until 2am at weekends. The hotel is easy walking distance from Birmingham New Street train station and local buses.

“Great hotel - superb location.”

Stayed for four nights, on business but with family. The hotel couldn't be better, the staff especially the blond lady in breakfast and the bar staff were superb. Nothing could be too much trouble. Didn't use the restaurant at night as the hotel is so conveniently located to a excellent choice of restaurants, This was our fourth visit - will be back next year ...
