“Don't ask for towels, soap or coffee”

We slept in a bit and left our room around noon. We returned at 11:00 p.m. to find that our room had not been cleaned. The night desk person actually told me that it was too late to get fresh towels, coffee, etc. Long story short, it took 2 trips to the front desk to finally have our necessities delivered to our room by the same night desk person. We were told that we were being unreasonable. He was nearly livid. One of the weirdest Motel experiences I have ever had. If you stay here, be sure to wake up early enough to get your room cleaned. Otherwise...........

The area and neighborhood were great. Close to shopping mall.

“Not Impressed”

The hotel was a little more rundown than the pictures posted made it look like. The breakfast was very minimal and pretty unappetizing. We were given a fully accessible room which was not as comfortable for us since we did not need that kind of room. For example, the bed was much lower than normal and the sink for the bathroom was in the main part of the room and lower. The "business center" was also the entrance to an area used by the staff so there was no privacy for a conference call my husband needed to take one morning and the business center was only available for specific hours of the day.

Area recommendations

The Five Points area downtown has a number of good restaurants and is near several interesting neighborhoods worth driving through.

Shopping

There is a new outlet mall near Leeds, AL that is well worth the trip.

“not impressed”

our room was not really very clean. I couldn't wait to get home and shower, it had a smell in the room that was not really great...musky. I will not stay here again.

“nice, clean, inexpensive stay”

Staff was very friendly and courteous. Continental breakfast was a nice bonus. The room was small but clean and very convenient to local restaurants and shopping.

“Fits the needs of any business or pleasure traveler”

As a frequent business traveler on a budget, this hotel fit my needs exactly. Nothing fancy but clean and well kept. To me it was your average everyday hotel that I will stay at again when I'm in the area.
