It is comfortably furnished with dark-wood chairs brightly covered with yellow and orange upholstery and tables with matching coverings. The long, tiled serving credenza, decorated with greenery, herbs and salads and manned by an army of chefs busily preparing a wide choice of fish and meat dishes for the buffet, is the focal point of the restaurant.

“Basic but lovely people”
Do not expect luxury - it's 3*, but you pay 3* prices!! Clean & grounds well maintained...great beach, swimming pools - brilliant weather!! Lovely friendly people, so helpful & friendly. Food was good, more geared to non-English palates, but always something for everyone and nice & fresh. Location is quite isolated but actual resort is huge & you can easily get to Tunis / tourist towns or go on excursions. In summary, it's non-pretentious but clean, warm & friendly!!
“bitter disappointment!”
the worst hotel i have ever stayed in my travels!food not eatable, alkohol mixed with water, soft drinks disgasting!safe your money, time and don't go there!
“Lovely Family resort”
Lovely resort mostly for family but i thoroughly enjoyed myself there. The beach is 4 minutes walk from my room. The pool was lovely but not too deep 1.60M at its deepest. The activities there were great - got to do activities such as archery (which I have never done but loved it), mini golf, water polo. However There is NO gym or sauna at all as they stated. The activities for the kids and adults at night time were very entertaining. However the kids bit gets a bit repetitive however if you liked the songs, which we did, you will enjoy it too. El Coccodrillo!!! and of course their own Carribbean Borj Cedria song and dance - Henna Henna by Khaled & Cameron Cartio. You'll be singing that for weeks after your holiday. The price included buffet breakfast (8am - 9.30am), lunch (12.30 - 2pm)and dinner (7pm - 9pm). The food had a mixture of Local Tunisian cuisine and more western food such as pasta. The grill section was the best section as the food from that area was piping hot and very tasty. Unlimited soft drinks, wine, spirits and beer (Carlsberg or Heineken). There was also some sort of alcoholic cocktail that you could get only at night from the main bar area which was very strong but very good. Highly recommend it if you have kids and even if you don't have kids. A good place to relax, eat as much as you want, drink as much as you want and you don't get to see many stag dos there. So all in all Brilliant!!!!!!!!!!
“wonderful getaway”
There were both positives and negatives of the trip. The hotel is located right on the beach. The weather was hot and sunny but there is a constant wind that keeps it comfortable. The excursions were enjoyable: camel riding , pirate ship day cruise , parasailing. The animation team was great and works really hard to help you with anything. The guests were from all over the world. For the price I dont think you can find a better deal. The food wasnt the best nor the worst. There were specialty restaurants I recommend you take advantage of from the moment you arrıve. Do not use the airport transfer from this site as they didnt accept it. Take a taxi from the airport for around 30 tunisian dinars. The room was clean and comfortable.
“will go back will ask for them to fix ac”
i loved this hotel it was hard to check in but all went well
“Great place to stay”
A place with a bit of everything . you can relax but you can also be busy all day . Animation staff can keep you in shape there
“If you don't set your expectations high then you won't be disappointed, but the staff are friendly”
Having read the previous reviews I was prepared, but here are some basics which need to be spelt out. I would not class this resort as an all inclusive hotel in comparison to what most people know, I would class this as a Full Board with some beverages included. Spirits are not included Beach/lounge towels are not included (1 Dinar a day and 10 Dinar deposit) Room safe is not included (take a 9V battery) A/C is centrally operated and is switched on from 1st June The Resort is very dated, decor, furniture, facilities etc. Food is fine, varied selection including salads, lots of rice and pasta. I stayed 2 days, 3 I could manage but no longer, this is due to my previous holiday experiences and standards. Very few Brits were there, but the staff were helpful and spoke good English. The Animation/Entertainment team are great, always want to get guests involved and make your holiday enjoyable, the Aerobic/Step instructor was excellent, better than most I have seen on Cruise Ships and other land based resorts. If you're not a drinker (unless you like to drink wine from a slushy machine) fancy a short trip with some good weather then give it a shot. Taxi ride is around 40 minutes from the airport and cost around 35 euros per cab, make sure you get the fare first and take a 'Yellow' licensed cab.
“OK - but 4 star it isn't!”
The hotel is a bit tatty round the edges, but a pleasant enough place to stay for a few days. There is very much an international clientelle, so expect to hear a lot of French, German and Russian but not too much English. The food is plentiful if unexciting, and very much motorway service area standard. The staff are very pleasant, but not that helpful when things go wrong. Our door lock didn't work properly, and it took several requests to get someone to come and look at it. Evening entertainment is on offer, and if joining in singing of the birdie song in French is your idea of a good time, this is definitely the place for you. If you are happy to just stay in the resort this place is fine, but if you want to see other parts of Tunisia the problem is Borj Cedria is in the middle of nowhere. The local town has nothing of interest, and it is a 20 minute walk to the railway station. Train connections to Tunis, and ultimately the rest of Tunisia, are quite frequent but the service is slow - a 20 mile journey takes about 45 minutes. Out of season taxis are difficult to find, but it is possible to take a louage (shared minibus taxi) to various other towns from the rank near the train station. Outsider the main tourist areas Tunisia is good value, and everywhere the locals are friendly and helpful. Some knowledge of French is helpful because English isn't widely spoken.
“good services”
The hotel is situated 30 minutes by car from the capital Tunis. There is not much to do in the neighborhoud. There are many excursions offered by the hotel. Furthermore the staff is extremely friendly and are willing to help you with anything you ask them. I would stay again in this hotel.
“Very disapointed not what we were expecting.”
The Official rating is way out there is no way this is a 4 star hotel, 3 at the most. The food on the other hand is 2 star. The hotel itself is tired and needs an update. The furniture is dirty and feels'sticky. The table cloths stay on the meal tables from one meal to another and are left on in between meals which is very unhygenic. The locally produced drinks are poor to say the least. No fresh fruit juices only concentrated squash. The fruit available is poor quality & consists of melon, apples and plumbs only. If you are vegeterian you will really struggle to find any food to eat. Everything is the same at each meal they just change the meat dish. The animation team do work hard but do not cater for English guests as everything is in either German or French. A lot of the facilities are now closed, bank, chemist, disco no air con and as you cant understand the entertainment there is nothing to do once you have had your evening meal. You are a long way from anything so you cannot leave the complex to have a meal somewhere else unless you have plenty of spare money. Beware of the boat trip as my husband has had food poisioning as have other that went on it. Overall it was very poor, if you were expecting it to be a lower rating then ok. There were a lot of disapointed guests there and likewise there were a lot who seemed to enjoy it. It really comes down to what you are expecting, this was mis sold as a 4 star venue.
