“Basically okay”
A normal, lower level Holiday Inn located in a somewhat depressed downtown area of Upstate NY. Rooms were acceptable but a little cramped, breakfast buffet was good but restaurant was understaffed. Lobby was fine, but there were "Wet Floor" signs all over lobby AND elevator lobby on our room floor constantly for two days (were they there permanently?).
In general, this hotel was okay, no surprises and as you might expect.

“Holiday Inn Binghamton NY”
Clean quite hotel with friendly staff. This was the May graduation weekend and all rooms were booked. They had set out cheese and crackers cookies and petit-fours which were frequently replenished. Despite the business of the hotel it was quiet and the staff did not seem upset. There was complimentary coffee available in the morning and checkout took 10 seconds. They have a nice indoor pool and free wireless internet. This is the third time I have stayed here, each time on the way to pick up my daughter from college and I have never had a problem.

“We stopped for the night on our way from NY to Niagara. Perfect choice.”
At the end of a long snowy trip, we were happy to find a good hotel to get some rest.

“Nice hotel ut in old part of town”
Rates were high considering it was in old part of town. Not much nearby just the downtown area which was dead, old and little variety. One restaurant.Many closed up places. I think the recession hit this town hard so maybe it used to be more lively. Would recommend it if rates were lower but they need to adjust them while the town is hurting to help bring people there.

“I WOULD STAY HERE AGAIN, NICE AND EVERYTHING WAS LOCAL.”
LOVED THE HOTEL AND EVERYTHING WE NEEDED WAS A SHORT DRIVE AWAY. THE KIDS ENJOYED THE POOL AND THE ZOO. WAS IN TOWN FOR SON'S BASEBALL( WE PLAYED AT COOPERSTOWN DREAM PARK) WAS A NICE DRIVE OVER TO COOPERSTOWN. DIDN'T KNOW NEW YORK HAD SO MANY HILLS. WOULD STAY HERE AGAIN, WHEN YOUNGEST KID PLAYS THE DREAM PARK.

“Good comfortable stay.”
This hotel had a very friendly staff. The rooms were clean, quiet and safe. I would have not problem recomending this hotel to others.

“Not Impressed Either”
The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. However, for the money we paid, it would have been nice to have a microwave and/or refrigerator in our room. Not enough towel racks and no hook on the bathroom door to hang anything to dry (after swimming). Having more than one trash can in the room would have been nice. Could use some snack vending machines too!

“Convenient location”
Location was very convenienct - righbt in the middle of town; everything close by and easy to get to. Hotel was first-rate all the way!!!!!!!!

“Great downtown location.”
I stayed in Holiday Inn Binghamton recently. I was really impressed with the service and the hotel in general. Very convenient down town location with ample parking. They have just renovated all the rooms. The bar was great and the breakfast in the restaurant was perfact. I was impressed with all the staff as they always greeted with a smile! The river view was a perfact location. The room was specious and the wifi signals were strong. I was impressed with their fitness room with brand new equipment and 2 flat screen TV's. I would certainly recomend this hotel to every one visiting Binghamton.
