“Disappointed”

Worn carpet, faceboards in bathroom missing, musty odor in room.

“Disappointed”

Although the rooms were quite comfortable, I don't expect to have to call the front desk for toilet tissue, for the coffee pot to be cleaned or to go to the front desk to pick up coffe supplies that I believe should have been taken care of every morning. Even though I answered No to the recommendation, I would probably have chosen "Maybe" if offered. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast offerings were very good. I would definitely consider going back if the above issues are taken care of.

“Very nice for the price”

We were in the area for the Crusin' the Coast and were pleasantly surprised at the overall condition of the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Even though the hotel was completely full, the friendliness and response of the staff was exceptional. We would definitely stay here again.

“Hated it. Room was not clean”

The entire room had spider webs all over the place. There were dried up dead bugs on the floor. And we just didn't sleep very well.

“Not Impressed”

"Non-smoking" room had obviously been smoked in, repeatedly - terrible odor - were unable to swap rooms - all woke up with allergic symptoms.

Area recommendations
Oceans Springs is a great little town, just choose another hotel.

“Great Staff!”

The staff att his location was very friendly and helpful. The location is not too far from great beach locations. I would stay here again.

I would recommend Ship Island!!! Excellent beach and swim area that makes you feel you are a million miles away from everything.

“I was thoroughly satisfied”

Stayed here Apr 24-29 for a getaway. Convenient location- just off I-10 on a major local road- easy to get in and out- and in less than 15 minutes I could be in either downtown Ocean Springs or Biloxi. Next door is a well-lit 24-hour Waffle House. During my stay, I had interactions with 4 different front-desk clerks who could not have been nicer, more helpful, or friendlier. All my room requests (that I had made by phone in advance) were met: king bed, non-smoking room, ground floor. The room was fine - I made use of room amenities including the mini-fridge and microwave. The TV worked worked good - plenty of channel choices. The shower head offered several options: pulsing, etc. The room also had an ironing board and iron in case I had needed those. Small in-room coffee maker too. The daily breakfast was more than adequate: cereals, self-service hot waffles, 2 kinds of juices, regular & decaf coffee, pastries, muffins, bagels, toast, condiments (cream cheese, butter, jellies, etc). In case I missed breakfast, which I did a couple of mornings, I appreciated that both coffee and the juices were usually available throughout the day. Unexpected amenities included a guest desktop computer and a nice fitness room, both near the front desk. The fitness equipment included a couple of cardio machines and a weight machine. Room & bathroom were clean; place was quiet. The only negative I found was that the room showed a little wear & tear, but I considered it minor & normal.

Area recommendations
The downtown and beach areas of Ocean Springs. Nice, laid back area that is very pedestrian friendly. Interesting to stroll through, window shop, have a nice meal. If you are a member of a YMCA be sure to check out the one in Ocean Springs on Government Street, which allows 10 free visits per year to out-of-town YMCA members. Nice facility (with new equipment) where you can get a good workout, have a refreshing eucalyptus sauna, etc. Staff is extremely cordial and welcoming.
