honestly the floors were dirty and the doors were filthy. pretty average otherwise, breakfast was mediocre at best. pretty much what you’d expect for the price

Room was clean, but cold & unwelcoming. No carpet, no paintings or pictures on walls - very basic. Breakfast items were gone by 7am.

Dear guest, We are sorry you did not enjoy your stay, our hotel is newly remodeled to the baymont standards and many appreciate the new look, we are actually working on getting pictures for the rooms.Breakfast is open till 9 am and food is cooked and put out constantly, our intent is to have our guest enjoy the hot breakfast, sometime we do get a rush of people come in, we wished you had asked and waited for the staff to put our more food.Thanks for staying with us.

This was an overnight stop for a longer trip. The stay was exactly what I needed for a good night sleep and a pretty good breakfast. Would stay again when going through again.

The staff here are GREAT! Those who stay in at major chain hotels and are accustomed to boujee requirements, this may not be the place for you. We are not. Suited our needs just fine and we had no issues! NOT close to the beach, so don’t get confused. Waffle House in the parking lot with the best manager EVER!!!!! Recommend this place.

My stay was peaceful, and the reception staff were very friendly. Be sure to note that entry to the room is outdoors, so no elevator. Breakfast was tasty, but if you do not plan to eat in the dining area near the lobby, make a note of the weather because you’d be walking outside with your food to get to your room. No one had checked the batteries to the remote, which immediately alerted on the tv when I turned it on that I should call the front desk for replacements. The clock was weird: it started making a strange static buzzing sound as soon as I undressed for a shower. Maybe I’m a bit paranoid, but this was alarming, no pun intended. My main complaint is that the ice machine on the second floor where I was staying was out of order, a major inconvenience in my opinion. All things considered though, I would consider staying here again, but I wouldn’t make it my first choice unless I could choose a first floor room beforehand. This wasn’t an option.

Cigarette butts were all around the ground on the property. A horrible smell was in the bathroom that smelled like smoke. A front desk person came to the room and heed said he didn’t smell anything but we asked our neighbors in the room next to us and they had the same smell in their bathroom.

A very pleasant surprise.
I would gladly love to offer my remodeling services to bring the interior rooms up to date with luxury cabinets. Besides the aesthetics/cosmetics of the hotel. The room was very large and spacious. The gentleman at the front desk was very attentive and kind. If I have to make another stop in the area, I wouldn't mind staying here again.

Wife and I stayed for 3 nights. Motel staff people were friendly from the front desk, breakfast preparer to the room housekeepers. Room was old but clean. At night, the parking lot was so brightly lit making it very secure. Conveniently close to I-10 freeway. I highly recommend this motel.

Budget hotel is clean with a not amazing, but decent, breakfast. Pet fee only $15! Good place to crash for the night. Sick of being marketed sporadic cleaning & limited supplies as “green” measures. You’re saving money by cutting corners, nothing more.

Had we not arrived so late, we would've departed. I habitually check the linens at every place we stay, and unfortunately, they appeared unchanged, with hair, dirt, and stains on the sheets; fortunately, we carry our own blankets. The floor was so dirty that our feet turned black within an hour of being there, and there was hair scattered around the bathroom sink and tub. Despite our reservation specifying that we had a toddler, we were assigned an upstairs room without elevator access, complicating the loading and unloading process. Cleanliness is paramount for us, and based on this experience, we won't be returning. I'm puzzled by their rating of 8; this wasn't up to the usual standard of an 8-rated stay.

Love Ocean Springs
