This place is a great place if you need to rest for the night. While the property itself is a bit dated, it is still perfectly functional and adequate. Being out in the middle of nowhere, it's safe and extremely quiet. The 24hr attached diner is also very convenient. Most hotels stop breakfast at around 9am, and being the night owl that I am, I often times never wake up in time. I liked how I'm able to go get a nice hot meal any time of day. The price per room is also a good value as well. Overall a solid hotel. Would stay here again.

The staff here are always great, friendly, and so happy to help with whatever is needed. The rooms are always clean and I love that they have cribs for our baby. Unfortunately there is really nothing around the area - but that’s not the hotels fault. The only thing I do wish - and honestly I’m not sure that it’s even possible, but I do wish they had some rooms with king size beds. Otherwise though- this is a really nice little hotel when you need to stay in the middle of nowhere and the diner is so cute and has delicious food.

Strange out-of-the-way place with little service.
To consider this property as being in Douglas is a mistake; it is 40 miles north of town on a minor road. That fact was not evident from the listing in Hotels.com, possibly because in Wyoming zip codes cover vast territories. I recommend the listing be clarified. The hotel is managed from the adjacent diner (which is an excellent 24-hour resource), and there is no security in the lobby. Though we seemed to be the only guests, we were not able to have a ground floor room, since most of the property is contracted to the Union Pacific Railroad, whether being used or not. The bed had been made up but not the bathroom; we found a housekeeper's cart parked outside a hallway with all the doors open and helped ourselves to towels, soap, shampoo and toilet paper. There was no elevator, no ice machine. No other activity is nearby except the Union Pacific railyard. This was not the convenient overnight stop on our cross-country roadtrip that we anticipated.

Room was not clean. Shower had significant amount of hair all over. The staff was very slow to respond to issues with the room. My key didn't work for three days, and I had to wait for front desk to open the door every time I left my room. I was there nearly two weeks and the cleaning staff never cleaned my room even after requesting three times.

Stayed here on two seperate days during a recent trip. The staff had a horrible time linking up with Expedia. The one luggage cart was broken. The entrance was dirty.

The first room we were given had not been cleaned, so I called and we were moved to a new room that was. We were told we would be comped one breakfast (we were a party of three) if we chose to eat breakfast at the diner in the morning, but we weren't given any kind of paper showing that even if we had still wanted to pay them for two of our breakfasts. The blanket on the bed was the thinnest one I have ever seen. Room had a weird smell. Not the very worst place I've ever stayed, but it wasn't good. Also: they do not, in fact, have any rollaway beds at all, so do not ask.

We wanted to enjoy our stay but the fridge still had food in it from previous people, no way to get extra towels because we never found a worker. After a long day of sightseeing we came back to find the diner closed. We went to bed hungry because the nearest other options were nearly an hour away! Otherwise stay was OK. Safe and quiet

Not bad
For a one night stay on a trip, this isn't a bad place to stay. The bed was very comfortable, the shower was great. We only had one bath towel for 2 people, and when we called to get another, it took awhile and when we asked to just leave it outside the door, it wasn't done. Also, the Dish Network box obviously wasn't working, so we had no TV. But the staff was very friendly, and the diner had good food. If you're just looking for a comfortable place to lay your head on your way to some destination, this will definitely do the trick.

Staff was kind and courteous, a phone call was received to ask us if we needed anything and the towel situation was reported and shortly remedied. Because of computer issues check-in and check-out was very slow. Restaurant vents and smoke detectors covers in greasy dirt. Because of a repair, no food was available during our stay. We were not anxious to eat there anyway. A free coffee was offered for our wait at check-out. This seemed to be more setup for their main customer, the railroad crews, commercial travelers not so much.

You have to pay for breakfast. It's in the middle of nowhere.It's very confusing as to where it is located as far as what town it's in. It took 20 minutes to check in .

The amenities listed for our property does not state continental breakfast so I apologize for the confusion of the breakfast and also our location. It does say Bill, WY with our address of Douglas which is understandably sometimes difficult to distinguish. Check in time may take a second when handling other aspects at the front desk but I will work with my agents to see if we have any issues that need refreshed. I hope other than these few issues you found our rooms clean, quiet and inviting with my staff accommodating. We had an unexpected 5 hour flight delay so did not arrive for check-in until 11:30 pm. That presented mo problem at all. The front desk staff, both night and in the morning, wete extremely kind and eager to help.

They say that check in is 3pm-whenever. It’s not. I got to the hotel and they had canceled my room because they didn’t think I was coming. Wish they would have called me first. You check in inside of the diner instead of the hotel. Then to get a room, the price went from 95 to 145.99 so that was cool. When you get to the room, you make your own bed. Everything is on a shelf. The bed is the firmest mattress that I have ever experienced. Slightly softer than sleeping on the floor… go to take a shower in the morning, and there were no shower towels. Just some wash rags. Overall, a very overpriced and terrible experience. Looking back on it all, I should have just slept in the pickup.

I sincerely apologize that your stay was less than satisfactory. We do not put the blankets on the bed due to the covid policy through our corporate office. I have attempted to reach out to you concerning this matter with no success. I will be refunding your card the difference between the Expedia reservation and the one when you came in, minus the hold put on your debit card by your bank that should have been released by now. My biggest complaint was the condition of the sheets and pillowcases. Multiple stains, grosses a person out. Second complaint is that the front desk waived the pet fee at the counter at check in. Once my card was charged, they did not waive the fee as promised. Which then added insult to injury because the check in process was about an hour long. I was understanding and kind. At first they couldn’t find my reservation. Then computer problems, then waited for an employee with more computer system knowledge to come to work so that they could find my reservation. I was appreciative of the pet fee waiver because of the checkin hassle.

Staff very accommodating and helpful! We were attacked by mosquitos getting in and out of the hotel…..bathroom in accessible room was great. Very basic room, had to put the blankets on our beds - pics showed different. Toilet worked but not well, notified mgr. on site restaurant was great!!

Everyone was friendly. After almost 20 years in the property management industry, the hotel was flawless. Because of the storm that passed through, the internet was down. The nice lady at the desk handled it like a rock star!!!! A definite place to stay again!!!!!
