“Perfect location -- great value”

This hotel is perfectly located :a 10 minute walk to the Guggenheim and 15 minutes in the other direction to the Old City. It is situated in a lovely residential area on the river bank. Our room, 201, was spacious, impeccably clean, large marble bathroom, and roomy entrance hall with desk. Free internet. Very helpful and friendly staff. We ate breakfast in a cafe around the corner. 5 euros for the two of us, as opposed to the 12 euros apiece for the hotel breakfast buffet. The only negtive comment : we could hear plumbing from room next door.

Getting around

Take bus from the airport for 2 euros. Itg leaves you off 10 minutes from hotel. Metro is excellent.35 minute metro ride to Portugalete, Basque town with charming waterfront and historic bridge. Don't go on a Monday if ou want to have a fish dinner there. fishermen do not go out on Sunday and the Monday haul is not ready by lunchtime.

Must see

Must spend time at the frank Gehry guggenheim Museum. tht's probably why you went there.... also El Museo de Bellas Artes is very worthwhile. Wandering in the Old City and sampling the local tapas is a lot of fun

“Guggenheim Museum stopover”

The hotel quality was more than consistent with the price. The facilities were sort of "old Europe" (narrow corridors, small and slow elevators), but I considered them more than acceptable, considering the price and the location -- close to the center of the city and the Guggenheim Museum. The staff was helpful and attentive. there was a nearby parking garage, as advertised. The included breakfast was OK.

“Nettes Hotel in guter Lage”

Insgesamt recht nettes Hotel. Zimmer war ausgesprochen sauber. Liegt jedoch an einer Hauptverkehrsstrasse und die Fenster sind nicht gut schallisoliert. Die Tiefgarage liegt eine Seitenstrasse weiter und ist nichs für Klaustrophobiker. Das Frühstück gibt es in Buffet-Form oder an der Bar. Ganz ok, aber für einen 5-jährigen mussten wir den vollen Buffet-Preis bezahlen. Insgesamt würden wir das Hotel jedoch sehr empfehlen, ideal zwischen Guggenheim und Altstadt gelegen, sehr netter Service.

“Très bon hôtel”

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable au conde duque. Le maitre d'hôtel parle français et toute l'équipe est très sympathique. La situation géographique est idéale pour visiter Bilbao. Il se situe tout près du musée Guggenheim et du funiculaire qui permet d'avoir une vue sur Bilbao depuis les hauteurs. Un arrêt de tram est juste en face et permet de se rendre très facilement dans les vieux quartiers. Un séjour sans fausses notes.
