The reception people were very nice. Everything was fine except for the incident of missing personal items from the hotel room which was compensated by the hotel front desk personnel. The rooms were clean.I had dinner one night at the dining room and was not that impressed but there are all kinds of cafes around the hotel were you find food at very good prices.

Staff are rude and inconsiderate - especially in the restaurant. Room walls are extremely thin and thus you can hear EVERYTHING from the rooms either side of you and the corridor. The cleaners are also very noisy and ignore the do not disturb signs on the doors. The only good thing is location as it is very to easy to find from the station but I would rather suggest staying more in the centre of Bilbao as there is nothing much in this area and it is dead on weekends.

“Barcelo Bilbao”

The hotel staff spoke enough English to assist us to get our room and get around Bilbao (not often the case). Hotel was nice and clean and the room was above average, but the traffic noise kept us up all night. A room on the backside of the hotel might have been better. Public transportation in Bilbao is second to none...quite easy to get around no matter where you are in the city.

The location is nothing to brag about. However, it is convenient to our trip. The only problem was the safe in the room kept on beeping, and the hotel was not able to fix it.

“Nice Rooms, shame about the food”

Room quality and reception service excellent. Restaurant was poor value for money and poor service, however - credit to the hotel, we complained and they refunded everyone's meal costs.

“Good 4-star hotel”

Room was comfortable - very clean, fresh, good size. Service good. It would've been better if they were like most hotels who cater to business clientele and have tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Location is very convenient for visiting the Old Town, a little out of the way for everything else, but has a convenient underground stop a 5 minute walk away.

The hotel in the good accessible position for all the sites of the service and the cleanliness were from yokes I recommend on the hotel

as before, clean, efficient. No english CNN or channels. WiFi is free now, had to pay last yr.

Personal: sehr freundlich!! da Matratze im Zimmer zu weich Zimmerwechsel SOFORT und unkompliziert mögich! Lage: zu weit vom Zentrum, aber U-Bahn Nähe Zimmer: VORSICHT, Zimmereinrichtung wie abgebildet so hell und schön gibt es NUR GEGEN AUFPREISS von 17,00 Euro!!! Also habe ich anderes erwartet und fühle mich diesbezüglich getäuscht! Zimmer wie gebucht zu Normalpreis sind gar nicht abgebildet und eher düster!! Mein Zimmer wurde nicht täglich gesaugt! Alles schon etwas "alt". Sehr unangenehm auch, dass Wellness-Center gar nicht zum Hotel gehört! Ist nur im haus ganz unten, ist aber ein öffentliches Fitness-Studio wo alle Spanier trainieren und sehr voll und alles nur mit Termin und gegen Bezahlung, SEHR TEUER!! Also keine Hotelleistung!! Man könnte genausogut in Fitness-Studio sonstwo gehen! das fand ich sehr unangenehm und kommt so bei der Hotel-Beschreibung nicht raus!!
