The staff was amazing! We took the family private ski lessons as we had never skied before. The instructor was amazing! He was patient, encouraging and so kind. I watched other instructors with the children and they were all so awesome with the kids!

It was a short walk to Explorer chairlift. Such a fast way to get skiing. The hot tubs were also very close and one of them was quite large with lots of benches to sit on. Daily housekeeping service was a nice plus. Great mountain views out of our large picture window. Grocery store nearby.

Best value for ski-in/ski-out in Big Sky. The lodge is charming, our room was definitely renovated with modern spacious shower cabin and sink counter. Breakfast is great and ski lift is just outside. Very friendly and helpful stuff.

Great location for skiing. The breakfast was great but you have to be in line before 7:40 am or you will wait. The hot tub and pool were excellent, temperature was hot with only one day being crowded (conference & winter break may have contributed). Beautiful view from buffet room of the mountain. Parking was very easy and the staff were very friendly. Ski check at the mountain side was very convenient. Common spaces were great to meet up with friends and family to share a drink and food. Coffee shop was nice and convenient.

Great Ski in and Ski out location!
The lodge was more modern than other ski resorts we have stayed at which we enjoyed. We had a view of the ski mountain and the lift was just outside of the door. We couldn't have asked for a better location. We had a room with a loft area with bunk beds and nice sitting room area. The room was very spacious. We would recommend this lodge for it's great location!

Hotel is in a great location relative to Big Sky. Outside of that, not many other positives. Outside of the guys at the front door, the entire staff needs customer service training, and they need to figure out the parking situation on Tuesday's. Also, read a review complaining about the wait/service/overall operation of breakfast at Chet's from last July, the hotel responded saying they were confident it would improve.....it has not improved. Don't offer a service that you can't deliver in at least an above avg manner.

While we have made changes to our breakfast operations since this past Summer that has significantly reduced wait times, we understand that there can still be a long wait on particularly busy days and appreciate our guests patience as we evaluate solutions!

Great ski in ski out location! Lots of shopping near by. Breakfast service can be a little bit faster. We almost finish our breakfast and still didn’t get water for the table.

Family Ski Reunion
Huntley Lodge was the perfect place for our family ski Rendezvous. The Cowboys were super helpful with luggages upon arriving, rides to/from dinner down the village, and when ready to depart. Checking in took some time, but they got better. Rooms were comfortable and housekeeping personnel friendly. We walked out directly to the Explorer Chair to ski - it would be nice if they put another elevator in the middle of the hotel so when the skiers got back at the end of the day one wouldn't have to walk up three flights of stairs with ski equipment. Dinner at Duke's was a hit. We loved the common area with the fireplace for us to gather and play games. The only drawback was inoperative hottub, which eventually got fixed and we were allowed to use Shoshone's Fitness Center with indoor hottub and outdoor heated pool. Breakfast was great but they could use a sign to tell guests when busy hours are so guests can make decisions on when to go for breakfast. On our first day we waited in line for over 10 minutes just to be seated. After the first day, seating process went much smoother and we avoided the "busy" time. We would definitely stay here again.

Property has great access to the resort, ski in and out. Stayed here before and the staff was amazing and very friendly. This time around they were not as courteous in there interactions to include their attitudes towards the guest were seen and felt more as I was a bother with questions. They also had the hot tubs not working for a portion of our stay and would not let us use the other facilities they have on the property. It was still a great visit just would have loved to see more is a “Big Sky Family” feel like I did last year.

Every single staff member were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The location on the resort made dining and skiing convenient. The design of the rooms are as noted in the hotel's photos, and it was clean.

Reliable quality and service
Comfortable, clean and convenient for the ski lifts. The staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet has a lot of choices. There were a few glitches with their accounting system managing charges to the room, but they were able to resolve them.

Great but for Parking
A most excellent stay with only one exception. We were put in one of the more northern end rooms but had to park in the southern most lot. At checkin when I was shown were the room was, I asked about the northern lot but it was not offered.

Over all amazing time at the Huntley Lodge! The entire staff was very friendly and accommodating. The services offered at the hotel are designed to help make the experience even better. We loved that the hotel offered hot chocolate and cookies at the end of a long day on the slopes! We will definitely stay here again. The only thing that I would change for next time is to get a room on the top floor, seeing as guests walking around in their snow equipment can be very loud!

This property includes breakfast with your room and what a wonderful breakfast it is. The best on our two week national parks trip. Beds are super comfy, quiet and large rooms for all your sports gear. Shower is terrific and stalked with spa products. We saw a beautiful red fox while eating dinner at Chet’s. We had a mini bar issue on our bill and the accounting dept. Took care of it right away. Kudos to them. Definitely worth the stay.
