We really enjoyed our stay besides the property needing a facelift in the rooms. Unfortunately we were kept up by a very violent Couple fighting until the police and emergency services was called in.

This is a cozy lodge property. The rooms are the bare minimum, 2 beds, mini fridge and microwave (on 3 of 4 legs). The listing said there was a place to sit but here was no chair, couch (was in the picture) or table in the room. The hot tub jets weren't working which was disappointing but it was nice and hot for a relaxing soak. The breakfast was fully stocked for a serve-yourself basic breakfast. They had some nice heat and serve options. It was inexpensive and very basic and just what we needed for this trip.

The staff was lovely however the single person rooms such as #18, which I stayed in needs work. I found a tear in the wall by the bed near the night stand when I first arrived. Opening my door was challenging as well, as it would get stuck and not move. Also I didn’t not feel super safe walking up the stairs to my unit at night due to the small and poorly lit walk way. I would suggest to check the dry wall to make sure everything is patched up correctly and add some brighter lights.

The staff was amazing but the rooms were lacking. Beds were old springs and very hard. There were ants in the bathroom and hot water took a long time.

The property is in a central area close to everything. It is a bit dated, but comfortable. The staff was great. I forgot an item in my room and they took it to UPS and helped me ship it back to my house.

What a wonderful Cain stay for our anniversary! The hotel is really cute Bavarian charm and the front desk was friendly❤️ The log cabin we stayed in with large jetted tub was perfect! Cozy, comfortable with everything we needed. We can’t wait to come back!

Good little place. The fireplace with the supplied wood was great. Enjoyed ourself though can be loud when people above start atomping around early in the AM, so get a stand alone cottage if you want more peace and quiet. Otherwise was great

We were only here for one night but it was such a nice stay. I have trouble sleeping away from home and I didn’t have an issue here. Staff is super friendly and while the interior decor is dated we were comfortable and well rested.

Room was average at best. Not so clean, Some Lights didn’t work, fire place barely worked(super small flame) , toilet unlevel, comforter was stained and bed pretty worn out. Probably will not stay again. It was safe and had no problems. It’s close to everything which was nice but showing its wear and tear for sure.

Honestly, not here to rip this place apart, it was our fault for not doing better research on the area. However, I cannot get over that there was blood on 2 of our pillows upon checking in to this place. Additionally, our room was above a nail salon and the smell was beyond terrible. If the entire place wasn't sold out we would of requested a room change. Also, they did nothing in terms of the blood in our room other than provide us with new linen we had to put on ourselves. Really not the best experience and we would never stay here again!

Overall location is very convenient - close to everything. Our room was clean and warm. On downside - thin walls (you can hear everything), breakfast - bagel, cereal or pastry, and coffee - not great. But the everything else was pretty decent. If you care only about location - stay here for sure.

The property shows ages on walls, floors, and furniture. The sound proof doesn't exist, you can hear very clearly conversations next door. On nice thing is it is one of the very few in Big Bear Lake area that provides free breakfast, but the contents are sub-par. The pricing, however, is the main reason we chose this hotel. Others are much higher in comparison.
