Pro - We extended additional two days to our original four days stay as we were very satisfied with the hotel. Staff was very attentive and helpful to readily provide thermometer and medicine upon finding out about my four year old running a fever.
Valet parking was spontaneous, we were also able to borrow a baby stroller for free.
Both Japanese and international breakfast were great.
Quiet location and peaceful relaxing stay.
Con - wish the hotel could have acceded to our request for a late checkout without having to pay a surcharge. That sort of mar our experience to an otherwise 5 star ratings of the hotel. Nevertheless, would not hesitate to book this hotel again.
Suggested improvement - better signage or advance info to first time check in for car drivers to drive directly to the lobby area instead of going directly to the underground carpark area which unfortunately is very old and in urgent need to refurbish which gives a wrong first impression as it contradicts greatly with the front entrance reception. In addition, there was no lift access from underground car park to the lobby and we had to lug up our two luggages up a long flight of steps together with a four years old.
The room is little small compare to the room in US but it is clean. The bed is comfortable. I like the hot water boiler. It is metal. Not plastic. It makes me feel safe to cook the hot water. The staffs are very friendly.
Also it is one minutes walk to the rail and 5 minutes walk to the street where there are many shops and restaurants.

Booked for my parents. The room was wide enough with two windows of city view. The hotel has a public bath (size for around 10 ppl ) on the top floor besides the room's bath, and those were also for free. My parents were very satisfied with it also. Breakfast buffe is 1000yen and its also worth trying :)
