Pros: This B & B had a fabulous room with a view of the woods, a MOST comfortable bed and excellent, fresh food. The inn keeper was AMAZING!
The Log Cabin B & B was an EXCELLENT place to stay. The inn keeper was interesting, efficient and VERY accommodating! The location was set in the woods and was peaceful and extremely beautiful. This is a top-notch B & B, everything inside and outside were exceptional.

Just plain beautiful

Posted 10-Aug-2014
Pros: everything
Cons: Nothing I can think of.
Location: There is a golf course nearby which was our main reason for going. Crumpin-Fox. Outstanding in every way. The Cringle candle factory with a great rest
What a nice experience. Welcoming, quiet peaceful and just a great overall place to getaway. My wife and I loved everything about it. The bed was great, place was clean and very private. They even have a few sheep in the yard and my wife is an animal lover. It is so well designed and pretty to look at you will love it.

Hidden Gem

The Leyden Log Cabin B&B is the perfect cozy little place to stay on the MA/VT border. Kathie made us feel right at home in her beautiful (new construction) home that is clean and well-kept. The place even smells the way you'd imagine a log cabin should smell. Breakfast was very good, the area is beautiful (don't miss the farm around the corner or the nearby lake) and the rooms were spacious, well-stocked and modern (and comfortable!). Kathie gave us privacy when we wanted it, and chatted with us (and had some great recommendations in the area) when we were ready. The private porch was a great feature, and the 3 sheep that live on the property were well-behaved and a fun addition to the whole experience. Highly recommended.

We loved our stay. Quiet secluded location out in the woods. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable of the area. Suggested places to visit and gave driving directions. Breakfast was great everyday at a time we selected.

Nice B&B in the woods.

Pros: setting, bathroom, bed, great room, hospitality. THE SHEEP!
Location: the end of the foliage was still lovely. we talked to the sheep. walked in the woods and passed the farms, drove to northampton and greenfield : )
Log Cabin B&B was awesome. It is gorgeous, new and so nicely finished/furnished. Kathie was the perfect innkeeper: very pleasant, helpful, hospitable and fun to talk with. We traveled there with my service dog Frankie and she accommodated her graciously and playfully! We had a restful enjoyable weekend. We plan on going back!

Log Cabin with all the modern conveniences.

We loved our two nights at the Log Cabin. Kathie the InnKeeper made us feel right at home while respecting our privacy and accommodating our changing schedule. The location is so beautiful nestled into a valley near a bubbling brook. There was complete quiet and the room was cozy and clean. High end bedding and linens made the sleeping wonderful. I would recommend The Log Cabin for anyone needing a great alternative to the low end local hotels. We drove the 12 miles from our event site both days and the drive was beautiful and easy traveling. I give The Log Cabin 4.5 out of 5 stars.

Nice, quiet, friendly.

Posted 18-Oct-2013
Pros: It's a B&B and not a hotel. Staff of 2, the owners. Very nice to sit talk and relax with friendly people.
Cons: Nothing could be improved at the B&B itself. It is only two years old, very new, well built and clean.
Location: Country stores nearby, Waterfalls and exploring in the woods for the outdoors and hiking types.

Highlight of a whirlwind road trip

Posted 15-Sep-2013
Pros: clean, great hostess, great food, beautiful surroundings, very comfortable bed and linens, private bath
Cons: nope
My partner of 18 years and I travelled from Marietta, GA to Brattleboro, VT to get legally married this past labor day weekend. After the ceremony, we had dinner in town, and headed to The Log Cabin Bed & Breakfast. This B&B is just what we were looking for. It was far enough off the beaten path to be quiet and surrounded by beautiful scenery, yet near town for dining and other activities. The room was immaculate and the king-sized bed was so wonderfully comfortable that we could have slept through the weekend! We had a private bathroom and deck overlooking a beautiful forest view, as well as three delightful sheep! Kathie and Glen went out of their way to make us feel welcome. They even made a special trip to town to get us a wedding cake to celebrate. The breakfast was delicious featuring home-made muffins, and fresh eggs and bacon. I only wish we could have stayed longer. We highly recommend this B&B for a quiet, comfortable stay with truly welcoming hosts. THANKS!
