“Great location”

Right across from the train station, easy walking distance to everything. Basic room, clean but not especially comfy. Nice bathroom and windows that open to get fresh air. Service was minimal, not as friendly as the other hotels I stayed in on the trip that were in about the same price range.

“Right next to main train station”

Spacious, clean and right next to the main train station. The rooms are spacious and the bathrooms are nice with separate area for basin and mirrors etc. Nice toiletries and a mini-bar fridge which is handy. No air-con though fortunately we were not on the street side so it was ok to keep the window open at night. Didn't bother with the breakfast as it appeared to be quite expensive. Would stay there again for a short visit.

“Great location, if a bit noisy”

If you are arriving in the city by train, this hotel is perfectly located - and it's then only a five minute walk to the centre of town. The room was spacious, the bathroom fine -thought the shower was a bit old-fashioned - and the bed comfortable. The main problem is the noise outside. We solved it by closing the windows - no air-con - but that might be tricky in the heat. Quite expensive, but you're paying for the location.

Realy basic hotel with no service at all, and college doormatery looking room with old gray carpet.

“Good Location”

Good location if this is your first or last day in the city...right across the street from the railroad station. Also an easy walk to the main part of the city. Our room had a small balcony overlooking the main square...very nice for people watching, but the city noise was present at night, especially with the windows open. Staff was helpful and pleasant, also fluent English speakers.

“Convenient and comfortable”

Excellent location near train station, public transportation, and old town area. Chose hotel based on location near train station and was very pleased with it overall. Minimal lobby, plain decor, but those were not important. Room was not large but was adequate. Street noise was not bad - we were on the front and could leave the window open most of the night. Entrance is small and hotel name appears in two places but high on building facade - I had been warned of this in other reviews so was able to spot the hotel from the front of the train station. Staff was uniformly friendly and efficient. Did not use the expensive Wi-fi connection Food/restaurant court two doors down was very convenient. Also close to train station shopping area - good place for quick, less expensive breakfast. (Hotel breakfast buffet seemed expensive, but food isn't cheap in Switzerland.)

“Great location”

Hotel was in a great location, right at the train/tram/bus station. Makes everything so convenient. However, offering free WIFI like most other hotels in Switzerland would have made the stay perfect.
