This hotel is much better than a three star rating. Should be a four star.

Bern is easy to get around - once we had detailed instructions on using the public transport from the helpful hotel staff.

The hotel is situated in a lovely neighborhood, convenient to the Tram,or even walkable, to get downtown. The staff was very helpful with our questions. The Breakfast Room staff was pleasant and efficient; food was nicely presented and plentiful. The room was clean and comfortable. A very well-run hotel.

“Budget Hotel in Bern”

I didn't get a non smoker room on the third floor at check in though i asked for it when i booked the room. I returned to the reception and asked if a non smoker room would be available. This was possible. So i had another room on the first floor (more noise from the street side) in the older part of the hotel building. The room was clean (but not as clean as it is standard in other hotels in Switzerland), small and with basic furniture. The room was badly soundproofed, so each of the three nights that i stayed in this hotel i was waked up persistently by loudly speaking people in the neighboring rooms. Free wireless internet connection in the restaurant/lobby - as announced in the hotel description - was not functional, and the prices for internet connection in the rooms is expensive. Taking into account of the prices for hotel rooms in Bern though i would recommend the hotel for the price/night that i've paid for (54 USD). But I would insist on a non smoker room in the newer part of the hotel on a higher floor.

this hotel not 3 star at all it is less then 1 star hotel and very far from bern station not good location hotel room is very bad but very clean staff not friendly i do not recomend this hotel to any one i picked up wrongly this hotel not worth for what you paying for it

“Hotel molto comodo e pulito- vicino a tutto”

Ho trovato questo hotel molto comodo, molto pulito in un quartiere con molto verde. Il personale e' gentile. Anche se non e' proprio in centro si possono raggiungere tutte le principali attrazione tranquillamente a piedi. La colazione e' veramente molto buona, varia e abbondante

“Sehr gutes Hotel, ein wenig ausserhalb der Stadt”

Die Qualität des Hotels war rundum sehr gut, insbesondere das Frühstücksbuffet hat uns gefallen. Das Hotel ist allerdings etwas ausserhalb der Stadt (ca 10-15 Minuten zu Fuss), es fahren aber auch Busse, Parkplätze waren auch kein Problem.
