Great location just a short walk to the U8 Franz Neumann station and lake. 20 mins to Alexanderplatz hub on U bahn. Very comfortable rooms and great helpful staff. Would definitely return

Nice and convenient
Check in was easy, Luisa was very helpful and spoke perfect English. She gave good information on traveling to airport, and was helpful with the washer. The dryer was broken but it was ok we hung everything up! The room was spacious. I would definitely stay there again. Breakfast was very nice, with many choices, a nice large display!

AWFUL EXPERIENCE!
What an awful experience!!! I booked a room for a friend who checked in at 9pm, and had to until almost 1am to be allocated a room. It is an absolute disgrace. When checking in he was told there was no room for him, even though we had received an email from the hotel about the booking. After a lengthy telephone call with the front desk, they finally confirmed they had found the booking, but still made the guest wait THREE HOURS before being given a room. They definitely need to brush up on their customer service skills!

Not Superstar Quality But Not Bad
The overall stay was good. Nice comfy beds and enough space for a couple with laptops etc. The shower has excellent water pressure and the cleaning services are to a high standard. The day staff are friendly however one one occasion there was a young man working on the night shift that was very apathetic and too casual towards the guests. Even wearing what looked like sweatpants. The transport lines were not terrible (if you know where you're going) but if you're new to the city and don't have an understanding of public transport, it's quite a while away from the nearest U-Bahn station.

You have to check in BEFORE you can drive into the parking garage. VERY WEIRD. Then, there are several short flights of stairs one has to carry one's luggage to get to the lifts. My card didn't work for the door and the bell didn't get the front desk. So I, a woman, was stuck with my luggage alone at night in the parking garage. I had to leave my luggage and walk around. The front desk guy wasn't overly worried about any of this. I guess Berlin is so much safer that this isn't a problem but being from LA, I was quite happy to A) be unharmed and B) still find my luggage after this. Having a bell that doesn't actually get anyone's attention isn't overly helpful either. At least put a sign "doesn't work" or something. Rooms are clean, quiet and sufficient. Internet works. Street parking workable.

The front desk was polite and helpful, the room was large. Now the no's, no sheets on the bed, no air-conditioning, no fan no safe, no refrigerator, no cups for drinks.30-50 minutes on 2 buses to go site-seeing. A nice breakfast but way overpriced. Not a room you want to go back to, too unwind.

Room's nice and clean. no AirCondition..so ask for a fan in summer months can be very warm. Easy Bus ride to and from TXL airport. hop on route/bus 128.. for either way..2.80 euros. to get to Alexander Platz...just walk 6 mins to Franz-Neumann--Platz and hop on subway. U8...Hotel has a Restaurant...more selection at Franz-Neuman...

Great location if you need to be by the airport but still want walk ability for food and drinks. No AC during a heat wave was super uncomfortable and the room was a little dated. Nice big windows open up to the street but not enough of a breeze to really cool the room at night. Luckily the bed is on wheels so I moved it directly under the window. Front desk staff were pretty cold and unhelpful.

Asked the staff for an iron & ironing board, they told me I could find some in their basement and that I would have to go down there to get it myself. Very sketchy and odd service. Tried to ask someone for some help and they responded "I don't know Italian", excuse me? Neither do I, I am pretty sure I asked in English. Odd staff, I would stay elsewhere if possible.

I LIKE THIS HOTEL BECAUSE IT IS NEAR WHERE MY MOM RESIDES AND CLOSE TO THE AIRPORT WITH A BUS TO TAKE YOU THERE RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE PROPERTY. THE STAFF IS EXCEPTIONAL. FRIENDLY ALWAYS HAPPY TO HELP IN ANY WAY WITH A SMILE. THE ONLY THING THAT WAS NOT TO MY PERSONAL LIKING ARE THE PILLOWS. THEY WERE TOO SOFT. I'M SURE THE STAFF SAW ME BRING IN A COUPLE OF PILLOWS THAT I BORROWED FROM MY NIECE. LOL I BELIEVE THIS WAS THE THIRD TIME I STAYED AT THIS HOTEL AND WILL CONTINUE TO DO SO EVERYTIME I COME TO VISIT. I WILL ALSO RECCOMMEND IT TO MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY.

wasn't told breakfast wasn't included in fact I was told what time breakfast was suggesting to me it was....was not asked on check in if i would like to upgrade and was never made aware it wasn't included until i was getting my breakfast! didn't even say it anywhere in the booking confirmation...when the woman at reception was made aware she didn't really smile or try to appease the matter just shrugged and said that's how it is...wasn't terribly happy with that although the food didn't seem worth the extortionate 19.90 she told me i should pay extra...

The hotel staff is nice but for 3 stars I expected a little more.. The room amenities are pretty old and used a lot. especially the bathroom is not 3 star quality. But everything was clean and usable. I wouldn't want to spend my vacation here but spending a couple of nights on a business trip is okay.

Good Choice near Tegal / would return
After spending over three weeks in Europe, my wife and I spent a day/night here before flying back to the states, and we were very pleased with our choice. We took Bus 120 from Berlin Hauptbahnhof train station to the hotel (get off at the Hollanderst./Aroser Allee stop, about a 20-minute ride). Victor's is a short walk (one minute) from the stop. Note: We had two suitcases, and found this very doable. The room was a tad dated and there was no air conditioning (fan was provided), but the very pleasant and helpful staff, location, and great breakfast (first class/huge variety) more than made up for that. It is situated in a pleasant neighborhood with a very nice lake/park and small restaurants within a short walk. We had a 10 a.m. flight the following day, but had time for breakfast before checking out. We then took Bus 128 to Tegal (15-minute ride). No regrets. We would return.
