“Excellent Hotel in Berlin”

This hotel is located 2 mins walk from Markische Museum tube station, where you can get on the U2 line and bei in Alexanderplatz in 4 mins! It is in walking distant of Museum Insel, Berliner Dom and Untern den Lindern and Alexanderplatz. The hotel is located in a quiet street, so it's quiet in the evening so you can sleep well. There are a cafe and a supermarket and a couple of restaurants nearby but it hasn't got too much else, so if you want more choice you need to go to Alexanderplatz which isn't a problem only being 4 mins by uBahn or about 15 mins walking. The rooms were quite big and the beds were very comfortable, and it was cleaned everyday! I marked down the cleanliness not because of the cleaners but because the hotel has light carpets in the rooms so it shows any spillages that have been made and this doesn't look to great when you first walk into the room. The room has a tv with a couple of English channels, tea and coffee making facilities and a mini bar fridge where you can put some bits in if you needed to. Hotel does have wi-fi in all rooms at a cost. The hotels restaurant didn't look to badly priced with a good selection of food but we didn't eat there so cannot say anything more about it. I would recommend this hotel for an enjoyable trip to the fantastic city of Berlin!!

“Great Hotel in berlin”

We were staying in park plaza hotel for 4 nights - it was great! The room was very comfortable, clean and quiet... We will definitely go back on our next visit to Berlin. The location is very convenient - in a quiet neighborhood, next to an underground station (2 min from alexanderplatz and kudam...).

“Classy hotel”

While the decor is a little tacky, the service in the hotel cannot be faulted, and we had a very comfortable stay. It is well located insofar as it is not far from a number of sites, but it is fairly quiet in the immediate vicinity.

We had a three night stay at the Park Plaza everything was of a very high standard from the room to the hotel amenities the staff went out of their way to help us with any requests Very impressed with it all Thank you For making our stay such a memorable one

“Great Value & Quality by Park Plaza Berlin”

Great location, and quiet neighbourhood despite being in central Berlin. Easy access to main sites, very close to underground station for access to further locations. Friendly reception desk, more than ready to help. Excellent room standards.

“Great hotel, excellent service and good location”

A great hotel with very effucient and attentive service from friendly staff. Good location near two S Bahn stations, and Berlin bike rental outside. parking on stareet is expensive, and in garage more so. Disappointed that bottled water was not complimentary but cost 5E a small bottle. Not good on a hot summer day! Restaurant served good food, well cooked, but was very quiet on our visit. Plenty of other eating choices within 10 minute stroll. Highly recommended

Berlin is full ofe exciting areas. Mitte, Charlottenburg, Mintersplatz market are just some. Try others, you will not be disappointed.

“beautiful clean friendly hotel in the middle of nowhere”

great hotel, just make sure you do your research on where everything is and how to get there! There is a tube station 100 yards away which will take you anywhere you wish as long as you know what you want. There is nothing in the immediate area except a curry house and a coffee shop.

“Great Hotel in a central location”

Hotel was a 2 minute walk between two underground stations. It was very central for the price. The reception and bar staff were always very friendly and helpful. No complaints. We did get the room on the picture with the glass bamboo printed doors which led to the bathroom. The only strange thing was that it was a glass slide door that didn't close properly. Had to do a little furniture moving to get around the room, but I'm sure they didn't mind! Would definitely stay there again.

Getting around

If there are 4 or more of you travelling, get a one day group travel card which can be used on the bus, tram, underground and central over ground trains. It's cheaper than buying a per person card especially if you are going to be sightseeing the city together. This card can also we used for one journey to or from the airport as it's better value than the taxi and you won't get caught up in the traffic. Only issue we had is that couldn't work out how to use the self ticket machines to get this ticket, so still had to resort to a ticket desk!

“Great hotel in a central location”

This is a new hotel and really well furnished. We had booked a superior room and were initially a little disappointed with it's size, but it was really quiet, clean with a fantastic bathroom and comfortable bed. The hotel bar is nice if pricey. The staff are all helpful and the location is ideal. It is in walking distance of some attractions (museum island, Jewish Museum) but is also right next to an underground station on the U2 line which takes you to all the other attractions quickly - Potsdamer Platz is 5 stops away. I would recommend the hotel wihtout hesitation.
