“Not a bad place to stay in Berlin”
It's a little out of the bars and eateries but transport in Berlin is good so if the price is right it isn't a bad place to stay. The sports center that the Expedia overview said was available for use doesn't seem to exist though.
“Great hotel on the east side of Berlin”
Great place, although it was slightly farther from the main tourist sites. Great for those who are use to the roominess of hotels in the US. The only downside was that the S-Bahn station was under construction the day we were leaving for the airport to come home. Made getting to the airport a bit more challenging.
“Not bad for the price”
Hotel is in a reasonably good location as it is close to transport links however the area around the hotel has little choice in terms of restaurants, cafes, shops etc. The room was clean and comfortable, but we were disappointed to find there were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room and instead hot drinks had to be purchased from the hotel lobby. Also the TV was very outdated!!
“will always go back”
if you stay at this hotel you will get a fabulous breakfast for 12 euros. it is worth it for it carries you through the day.our time there was just perfect, everyone was so helpful and hard-working
“Berlin is Fantastic!”
This is definitely not a 4 star hotel. If you are expecting a clean, fairly basic hotel then it is perfect, however we were expecting something a bit more luxurious. The rooms and bathroom were clean but they are very small. Also, the room has no safe and you have to ask for coffee. In terms of location it's a bit out of the center of Berlin but it's really easy to get to the city centre by tram and only takes about 10 mins. It's also very convenient for the airport - only 30 mins by train. Not too many nice bars or restaurants close by but we preferred eating in the centre anyway.
“Luv Berlin”
Fine hotel in former East Berlin area. If you want to walk out of your door and be in the center of bars and restaurants don't stay here. But if you want a very clean and comfortable hotel that you can take an easy 10- 15 minute tram ride to Alexander Platz- stay here in a heartbeat. Nice place to have coffee and a breakfast roll or sweet is located right around the corner. Also an internet cafe.
“Very enjoyable stay.”
Hotel could not have been better placed. Airport (Schonefeld)transfer by train dropped off directly behind hotel. Tram link from just around corner from hotel direct to Alexanderplatz 10 minute journey. Regular tram service. Hotel was excellent and although the breakfast was not included in price it was well worth the price. Staff were very helpful.
“dont go there”
The door to our room was broken and not fixed for the three days of our stay. On the last morning there was NO hot water for a shower!
“Very comfortable”
This was a very pleasant hotel to stay in towards the end of our holiday. The beds were extremely comfortable and the linen was lovely a fresh. We were extremely comfortable. The services were all fine and everyone was helpful. Even minibar prices were reasonable compared to some I have seen. Easy tube/tram access around Berlin. I would like to see them improve their aircon but this did not ruin our stay at all. I would use this hotel again and recommend it.
“Value for Money”
Receptionist was VERY helpful and polite! after check in she was happy to mark out places of interest on the map of berlin and how to get around..including travel rules! i would hesitate using this hotel inthe future
