Perfect quiet location for week long stay in Berlin. Great neighborhood. We had an apartment with an outdoor patio. Staff very helpful for my receipt of a couple of overnight packages.

Spacious and close to subway
We traveled with 6 family members and this hotel had plenty of space for everyone to spread out. The kitchen was fully equipped and the table was long enough to accommodate everyone for dinner. We had easy access to trains, buses, and the subway to visit all of the tourist attractions in Berlin.

Calm Neighborhood
The apartments are located in a quite neighborhood but close to the main attractions of Berlin. The wifi is free but not always available. There is no AC but the rooms can be cooled by opening windows...

Great family sightseeing apartment
4 day weekend sightseeing in Berlin and sporting event for kids. Great size apartment. Walking and u-bahn distance to all downtown sights. Noisy neighbors upstairs (another rental) but hotel manager quieted them with a call so no problem. Great for family stay - lots of single beds. 1.5 bathrooms. Kitchen equipped and with starter supplies (coffee, filter, salt, pepper, dish soap, sponge). Very clean. Transitional neighborhood but felt very safe - lots of building refurbishment, ethnic restaurants, coffee shop downstairs from apartment.

Amazing Berlin
We loved our stay in Berlin and although the apartments were a little further out than we would have liked the trains/trams/buses are super easy to use and readily accessible from the apartment. Our only complaint would be about the wifi. With three children (2 teenagers) and my husband who needed to check work emails etc... It was quite unreliable. You constantly needed to enter passwords to access it (ie would go put the kettle on and come back to computer and have to register all over again...) Each device had to have a seperate password/user name and at times it took longer than 45mins to get on line, very frustrating! The one bathroom was very clean but as the toilet was situated in the bathroom this made things a tad difficult (someone showering and not able to go to toilet until they had finished...)

The apartment fit 4 adults and 2 kids very well. Beds were comfortable. Located next to subway stop, which made getting around fast and easy. Staff was very knowledgeable of the area. Only issue was the apartment we had, the bathroom door wouldn't lock.

Spacious apartment
The apartment was clean and spacious for a family of 5. Walking distance to Alexanderplatz and the Berlin wall museum. A market was just down the street. Staff was very helpful. I would stay again if traveling with family.

Brilliant location for good eating
What a great spot for an exploration of Berlin. Great links with public transport. Also great area to spend time in, lots of good places to eat, relaxed strolls and playgrounds for kids. Shop below the apartment great with lovely staff

Lovely apartment, ideal for families and groups. It was close to U bahn and easy to get to everywhere in Berlin. We are a family with 4 children, so welcomed the self catering facilities and cafes/shops close by.

Great location in a quiet area with nice local shops, only 2 U-bahn stops from the central area of Alexanderplatz. Good sized apartment, with plenty of extra provisions, such as coat hangers, cooking utensils, etc. Good standard of cleanliness - all linen provided was clean and the apartment was generally clean too, other than the edges of rooms, door frames and such would have benefitted from a wipe down. Lift access to upper floors, extra keys provided, and double locking main entrance as well as lockable door to apartment.

Spacious classic style apartment in nice location.
This is one of the nicest apartments we have stayed in while visiting berlin! The 3 rooms were very spacious and had 7 comfortable single beds with towels and linens included. The kitchen was well equipped and although there was only 1 bathroom, it was still ok. There is a small fridge also and one tv in one for the bedrooms. The best part is that it's close to many attractions like Alexanderplatz and Berliner Dom, nice restaurants, and there is even a bakery and organic food market right next door. For late night supplies there is a convenience store around the corner. Only issue is parking so make sure you pay cause you can easily get a ticket there.

Excellent place to explore Berlin, it is a very nice location in what used to be East Berlin. The aparment has a nicely equipped kitchen and is pretty large with three rooms and 6 beds. Also has free WiFi.

Clean & Modern Appartment, close to Alexanderplatz
Stayed here for 2 nights, it was in a safe and clean area, very close (4 min walk) to both the tube station and the tram that takes you to Alexanderplatz and anywhere else in Berlin. There is supermarket on the next block, restaurant across the street and small convenience shop and cafe downstairs. We were in the top apartment and heard no noise at night, it was very pleasant and had no problems. The apartment was very clean, tastefully decorated and contained just about everything you would need for a holiday.

Very very nice & spacious apartment
Great apartment! We had a very spacious 2 bedroom apartment that was located right next to the office. We were a family of 8 and there was plenty of room -there was even a dining table that could seat all 8 of us! There was 1 full bathroom (shower/toilet) and a separate room with a second toilet next to the full bathroom- which we definately needed for 8 people! The apartment has high ceilings and tall windows for lots of natural light. The apartment was very clean, convenient neighborhood with an organic food market down the street and a small convenient store/ bakery right next store. There are also plenty of cafes and restaurants all within walking distance. The TV tower is within walking distance too. The kitchen was nicely stocked with plenty of dishes, glasses, silverware, pots, etc if you like to cook. However, note that there is no AC which I think is typical of this area of Europe. This wasn't a problem for us since we just opened all the big windows and it was comfortable enough. The only minor thing that bothered me was the smell of the bath towels which had a strange smell - I think it is the smell of the laundry detergent they use? Also note that the office closes at 7pm so if you are arriving after 7pm, be sure to email or call them ahead of time to make arrangments, also there is an additional 20 euro charge for after hours check in. We stayed in 4 star hotels in London, Paris, Amsterdam, Rome but this apartment was our favorite out of all the places we stayed in our Europe trip!

Good family apartment in heart of Berlin
The Old Town Apartments in Metzer Strasse are very conviently located as the OTA office is just next door. We got an apartment on 4th floor and it was very spacy and light. Furniture is 100% IKEA (not a problem, just a fact, but don't expect something fancy). Kithen good enough for simple cooking. The bathroom could need a better shower curtain. Notice that even if there is an elevator it starts half a floor up which means that you do have to carry your luggage some of the way. Also notice that parking control is very efficient in the street, we got a parking ticket during the 10 minutes in which we hadn't yet left the ticket we got in the OTA office. Also notice that your car may get very dirty if you park under the trees due to the faeces from the greenflies in the trees (probably depends on when you arrive).

Great Apartment for Large Group in Berlin
I reserved this room for 9 of my students studying abroad with me in Berlin so the price was not bad at all. I love the Old Town Apartments company as a whole. I also had students stay at their Greifswalder Straße and Zehdenicker Straße properties. No complaints. Look just like the pictures. Close to public transportation, grocery store, and pharmacy. Lots to eat in the neighborhood. Also quiet with lots of family/children. The staff is nice, accommodating, and patient over email and phone before we arrived and during the stay. They have experience with student groups, so that was helpful for me. Kitchens are lovely. Bathrooms nice. Beds comfortable. No complaints from students. If you run out of toilet paper or paper towels, the staff is accommodating and the worst case scenario is that you go to the grocery store. Cleaning staff thorough and friendly, will arrange cleanings (if you ask) so not to disturb your sleep/rest.

Very Nice Holiday Apartment
My 83-year-old dad, two kids aged 14 and 12, sister and I were all very happy with OTA's simple but tasteful decoration as well as its location / environment. We had had a very comfortable stay in the apartment which was very clean and spacious. The very professional and useful advice given to us by every staff we approached had enabled us to have a smooth and pleasant 5-day vacation in Berlin. We would definitely recommend OTA to others.

I highly recommend the OTA apartment on Metzler Strasse. The apartment was clean, well lighted, and in an attractive neighborhood. The fact that you are 1 block from the subway and two blocks from great restaurants, coffee shops and a grocery store makes it all the more appealing. We stayed with our 6 kids ( ages 20 - 6) and had a great time.

Beautiful high ceilings, tall doors and windows. The staff were friendly and helpful. A bakery downstairs provided breakfast every day and drinks, milk etc. Cannot fault it and great place for a family to stay without the restrictions in a hotel. The flat was close to the tube and near a variety of restaurants.

The apartment is conveniently located near the U Bahn, about 5 mins walk' away. The U2 line brings us conveniently to most tourist destinations. What really impressed was the excellent service of the staff - Ramiro would patiently explained the routes to us and when asked to help us book special train passes, he actually made the extra effort to research online & compared the different rates and the accompanying discounts for museums admissions! Thank you guys for being one of the reasons for our most enjoyable stay in Berlin!

Good large apartments in quiet street
Good quality apartments, very simple and clean, good qalith beds and funiture, high ceilings and all white walls and large wide oak floors. Minimalistic, not plush, but I like it that way. Nearby to loads of good restaurnats and bars and supermarkets. Has a bakery just downstairs with minimart attached, so no shortage of food and drink,open late at night

We had a wonderful weekend in Berlin and our apartment was perfect for our needs. It was clean and comfortable with room for a family of five. Parking was very convenient. It is centrally located with easy access to Berlin's main attractions. It is located in a fun neighborhood with many delicious restaurants as well as convenient grocery and bakery. The staff was very friendly and helpful and all of them spoke English flawlessly. We would recommend Old Town Apartments to friends.

Good choice for a family break
Very Spacious 3 bedroom apartment with high ceilings, large windows, well ventliated bright rooms with ample natural lighting. Kitchen was fully equipped with a hotplate, Microwave grill, Kettle(for a nice cuppa!!!!!!!!!!), coffee machine etc. Hot water was available in plenty. This flat is 2 minutes away from the underground station and 5 minutes to the Alexander Platz (square). The reception staff (Dennis) was very friendly and helpful. We stayed for 4 nights and enjoyed every moment. The only drawback was a short flight of stairs at the entrance before you can get to the lift which can be a bit of a nuisance if you are carrying heavy suitcases.

Great appartment hotel for families, good location
Character filled building with very spacious accomodation, comfortable for 4 people, very clean and well decorated and equipped. Great location with U-Bahn less than 5 minutes away, great eateries close by. OTA staff very helpful even when we left our laptop in the hotel!

Fantastic apartment. Right in the thick of it. Think the equivelant of King's Cross or Paddington in relation to Leicester Sq. (to utilise the London milieu I'm familiar with) and that's the location. Perfectly spacious and clean. High ceilings, nice furniture, ample cooking facilities and utensils, good shower. Honestly, the apartment really was nice and I shall def. return. If I could fault it believe me I would, but I can't. I stayed there with 3 others and we had a blast. David, 25, Battersea.

A hidden gem in Berlin!
I had family visiting from the states and we really wanted to make a trip to Berlin. With three adutls and three kids, finding a nice, decent place to stay that was also affordable could be tricky. Until I came across Old Town Apartments. I was happy with the service we received at the front desk during check in. Extremely courteous and helpful! ANd when they took us up to the room...HOLY COW! It was huge! We could not believe that EVERYONE would have their own bed! And tub was perfect the kids bathtime. I would stay here again for sure. This place is top notch!
