Our new apartment house is located on the corner of Metzer Strasse and Strassburger Strasse in Prenzlauer Berg on the boarder of Mitte, the most sought after neighborhood in Berlin. The area around the historic Water Tower and Kollwitzplatz is ideal for strolling through the quaint streets and abound with galleries, boutiques and independent shopping opportunities. At the end of a relaxed day's sightseeing there are numerous restaurants and cafes where you can recharge your battery.
Just a few minutes away is Alexanderplatz and the TV tower as well as the UNESCO World Heritage site Museum Island. From there a leisurely stroll down the "Champs d'Elysee" of Berlin, Unter den Linden, will bring you to the Brandenburger Gate and the Reichstag.
The entire building was lovingly renovated in April of 2010, an elevator has been put in and the original details such as the double doors and hard wood floors were preserved. All 12 apartments have a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with tub and shower and single beds in the bedrooms that can be connected to make double beds, as well as a TV and free wireless internet. Bed linens and towels are provided at no extra cost.
