Modern flat in Berlin
Arrived by taxi at the Metzer St office and picked up keys. We were given a map and as we were early for our check in we walked to the apartment in Gartenstrausse which took 30 mins. The apartment was very clean and spacious with everything we needed for a 3 day break .including tea, coffee etc. Useful to have unlimited internet. Very close to underground station, taxi rank, and bus stop with convenience store just around the corner.

Good apartment excellent location
4 of us (2 adults plus 2 teenagers) stayed in Apartment Lully on the 3rd floor of Gartenstr. Great location - at the end of the street is the last remaining section of The Berlin Wall and visitor centre - well worth a visit. The apartment was bright and clean, simply furnished (Ikea) with everything needed for a happy self-catering break. Nordbahnhof Station is just round the corner making it very easy to get around. There is a large supermarket and several good cafe and restaurants within 10 minutes walking. Museum Island is approx. 20 minutes’ walk away or a quick ride on the train. The only thing that was a little tiring was having to go to OTA's office on Metzer Str to check-in and collect the keys but the staff were very nice and helpful so I soon got over it! The apartment has Wifi via a code issued on check-in and if you want a DVD player you need to book it in advance. Check-out is at 11am and the OTA office are happy to hold your luggage for the rest of the day. Berlin is a great city to visit and full of interesting things to see and do - definitely recommend pre-booking tickets/times otherwise you run the risk of queuing. Also recommend getting a Berlin travel pass so that you can hop on and off all public transport.

Brilliant apartment close to the centre!
From all the reviews I had read, I was sure we had come across a gem and we were not disappointed! The apartment was a modern, very clean and spacious one within close proximity to transport links to the centre. The staff were incredibly helpful upon arrival and provided us with all the information we needed! Would definitely stay there again :)

Would stay at Old Town Apartments again
I would recommend staying at Old Town Apartments if you have more than 2 people in your party. The kitchen, bedrooms, and bathroom was spacious, and will give you more room than a standard hotel. The accommodations were also very clean, and in a safe neighborhood with restaurants and sites in close proximity.

It was extremely hot at the time of our stay. This apartment has no air conditioning, only a couple of fans and open windows to give some relief. The business establishments across the court yard begin at 4 a.m. with rattling bottles and beginning their preparation for the day. The Nordbahnhof light shines in. Sleeping was not good.

Just back from a stay in these apartments. They are well located, not too noisy at night. Bit utilitarian in style for my liking, straight out of IKEA, but very clean and good value for money.

Good location near Nordbahnhoff and Wall museum, but no restaraunts or groceries nearby . Clean, comfort was OK. Checking in in a different location to aprtment meant a long walk between the two, but staff friendly and helpful.

Brilliant apartment, great location, has everything you need for a great stay in Berlin. Would have no issue recommending Old Town Apartments to anyone. The Staff at the office in Metzer Strasse were very helpful, with tips and advice on what to see and do.

Although one must check in at an alternative location, the staff were very friendly and helpful and the apartment was only 20 minutes away on foot. The apartment was clean and ideal for what we needed it for. In terms of location, there is an S Bahn station just around the corner with the centre 5 minutes away (Brandenburg Gate). The area itself is rather run down although this is understandable being in the old East Berlin. The Wall memorial is a 5 minute walk up the road and is fantastic. Overall I would recommend this apartment for comfort and location without being in the hustle and bustle of the centre.

Perfect for a family
We stayed there for a week during the hottest days of august.... We are a family of 5. The apartment is in a great location, quiet and clean, and a few steps from the house it's a lively pretty neighbourhood, with many small bars and coffee shops, shops and all....one perfect restaurant nearby, Alpenstauk, but......there is no air condition, and even though the man who took care of us was very friendly and brought some fans, it is quite hot when the temperatures are too high......yet, after 2 days even the temperatures went down and we had a perfect stay in the apartment.

Clean, comfortable and convenient.
The apartment is in a central part of Berlin, within a very short walk to the trams and trains to take you anywhere you would like to go. It is also very close to the Berlin Wall memorial park . The accommodation is clean and spacious with plenty of room for six people. Kitchen fully equipped so you don't have to eat out if you don't want to. We really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to others.

Good layout with plenty of space for 2 people. Facilities excellent, kettle, cutlery toaster etc. Huge windows with interesting urban view. Staff helpful and friendly with a bag drop location on the last day. Very close a very interesting section of the wall. We walked most places from the appartment but its also very close to an underground station. All in all a brilliant stay!

Nice little apartment, beds very comfortable and it's in kind of a quiet area but it's very accessible to other places and literally 1minute away from the metro. Nice and warm in the apartment too. Would recommend, also the staff are very helpful.

Comfortable stay in Berlin
The unit I stayed was spacious and comfortable. It was also conveniently located, 20 min walking from the main train station (Berlin Hbf) and immediately next to Nordbahnhof S-Bahn station. The only caveat is to notify the apartment before check-in as it does not have on-site checkin facilities.

Brilliant apartment and very central!
Stayed here for a week with a few friends and it's exactly what we were looking for! Perfect sized apartments and very central! Only a couple of minutes walk to the nearest underground station and plenty of restaurants nearby. Would definitely stay again!

This was a apartment in the east side only a few hundred meters from the berlin wall memorial. The neighborhood was a bit run down but undergoing a lot of construction. Convenient to the s and u bahn. The apartment was comfortable.

Appart- hôtel très bien situé et bien agencé
Tout près de la station Nordbahnhof et du mémorial du mur de Berlin, appartement très pratique et spacieux. Seul petit bémol, le bruit de la rue (circulation modérée) et le vis-à-vis dans les chambres. L'accueil est vraiment sympa et on nous a laissé nous installer dans l'appart bien avant les 13heures annoncés. C'était très agréable de laisser nos bagages dès notre arrivée dans l'appart et on a pu commencer à visiter tout de suite sans les bagages. Les supermarchés sont près de l'appart, il est donc facile de se faire à manger (et la cuisine est très bien équipée: four, four micro- onde, plaques de cuisson, cafetière, bouilloire)

Bra service av trevlig personal som skötte allt mkt smidigt. Lägenheten var enkelt möblerad men fullt tillräckligt och allt var rent och fräscht. Trevligt lugnt läge med nära till det mesta. Rekommenderas!

God beliggenhed og god service
Vi boede 3 voksne og 4 børn i lejligheden på 2. sal på Gartenstrasse. Lejligheden er ikke af de nyeste men ganske fin og rummelig. Der er 2 soveværelser, badeværelse med bruser i badekaret, køkken, stue m/ sovesofa, spisebord m/8 stole, 2 lænestole og balkon uden møbler (men man kan let tage stole med ud). Køkkenet har kun det mest nødvendige - ikke saks, ostehøvl osv. Beliggenheden er god men ingen indkøb lige i nærheden ud over lille kiosk i stueetagen. 2 fine legepladser lige overfor lejligheden. Lige nær et stykke af muren. Nøglen skal hentes på anden adresse, men vi fik den leveret da vi udenfor åbningstid. Super sød velkomst og introduktion til byen - god service! Ingen larm fra biler da vi var der fordi vejen var spæret pga vejarbejde. Der bliver varmt da lejligheden er uden aircon. men der kan let laves gennemtræk ved at åbne vinduerne. Vi vil gerne bo der igen.

Tolle 3 Tage in Berlin!
Wir habwen 3 wunderschöne Tage in Berlin verbracht und das haben wir Old Town Apartment zu verdanken. Unsere 3 Raumwohnung lag in den Gartenstrasse. Die lage war total bequem, 3 Minutten bis zum Nordbahnhof und von dort 2-3 Stationen mit dem S-Bahn bis zur Stadtmitte. Die Wohnung war gross, sauber, mit allem ausgestatten, was wir brauchten und günstig. Vielen lieben Dank!

Appartement très très bien situé, qui nous a permis de nous rendre à pied aux principaux sites historiques et d'en revenir. Travaux importants d'infrastructures dans la rue adjacente, entraînant une interruption du service de tram, mais cela ne nous a pas dérangées outre mesure. Nous aurions aimé avoir une feuille avec suggestions d'endroits où aller manger près de l'appartement. Le café à côté de l'immeuble a été fermé durant tout notre séjour. Suggestions d'épiceries également.

Schönes Appartement in Mitte
Wir waren als Familie (2 Erwachsene, 2 Kinder) für sechs Tage in Berlin und hatten ein Zimmer im OTA GArtenstraße. Dieses befindet sich mit anderen Appartements des Anbieters in einem normalen Mehrfamilienhaus direkt am Nordbahnhof. Die Anbindung mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln ist daher sehr gut und die Mauergedenkstätte nur wenige Meter entfernt. Das Appartement war sauber und die kleine Küche ausreichend ausgestattet. Handtücher standen auch zur Verfügung, allerdings gab es im Bad keinerlei Möglichkeit diese zum Trocknen aufzuhängen und sie wurden auch nicht ausgetauscht bzw. es kam im Verlauf der sehcs Tage niemand zum Putzen. Uns standen zwei Einzelbetten und eine SChlafcouch zur Verfügung, allerdings ohne abgetrennten Raum. Dies ist für Familien mit Kindern vielleicht manchmal nicht ganz so praktisch, da die Kinder doch meist früher ins Bett gehen. Zum Einkaufen findet sich in direkter UMgebung nur ein Bäcker, in weiterer Entfernung allerdings verschiedene Supermärkte. Restaurants und Kneipen sind im direkten UMfeld des Appartements nicht zu finden. Insgesamt hat uns der Aufenthalt im OTA-Appartement gut gefallen, obwohl die Abholung des Schlüssels am Hauptstandort mit allem Gepäck doch etwas mühsam war.

Bra lägenhet, men obs: Ingen reception i huset!
Vi hade en fräsch och bra planerad lägenhet med utmärkt läge vad gäller kommunikationer. Den ligger på en lugn gata, men tyvärr var det mycket byggarbete i närheten (hus + i gata nära) när vi var där, vilket väckte oss ett par morgnar. Man får gå en liten bit (ca 400 m) för att komma till en mataffär med bra utbud. Lägenheten ligger lite bortom huvudgatorna, men man kan lätt ta sig till fots till mer centrala delar av stan. En mycket stor nackdel är att man vid ankomst måste hämta nyckeln till lägenheten på OTA:s kontor, vilket är en bra bit bort. Det är väldigt bökigt om man kommer en grupp med väskor om alla är trötta och vill bara komma fram efter resan dit! Vi var även tvungna att ta oss till deras kontor sista dagen, eftersom vi behövde ställa väskorna någonstans innan vår avresa på kvällen. (Utcheckning är kl. 11.) Detta tog alldeles för lång tid om man bara har några dagar i Berlin! Några andra negativa punkter är att OTA hade lovat att ställa in en DVD-spelare i lägenheten, vilket inte skedde. Det saknades tvål i behållaren i badrummet. Sängarna, i synnerhet bäddsoffan, är lite för hårda. Vi hade även gärna sett att det fanns en diskmaskin i lägenheten.

Sehr zentrales, praktisches Apartment.
Unkomplizierter Check-In. Geräumige, teilweise etwas mitgenommene Wohnung. Einrichtung durfte offenbar nur bei Ikea gekauft werden. Insgesamt aber alles recht ordentlich. Preis und Lage sind ohnehin schwer zu schlagen.

Soggiorno Old Town Apartments Berlino
L'appartamento è molto ampio e confortevole situato in una perfetta posizione a due passi da Nordbanhof. Unica nota negativa è il fatto che nei giorni molto caldi (quali sono capitati a noi) il sole batte in casa tutto il giorno e il caldo al rientro si fa sentire, anche con le tende tirate, perché oltretutto non c'è la minima corrente d'aria tra le finestre e c'è solamente un misero ventilatore quindi l'effetto serra è difficile da contrastare.
