Clean and quiet hotel in a great location for site seeing - and a 2 min walk to the supermarket. Only wish is that the beds were a bit more comfortable, but other than that it was a really nice hotel for the price!

We liked this property. It was located close to Checkpoint Charlie and lots of transit options. We had a ground floor room which was nice to look out and see people walking by. The advert said laundry, unfortunately it didn’t mention paid laundry located in the basement rather than in the rooms. Had to buy wash and dry tokens and was told dryer was down one level (basement). Took laundry down, all basement doors locked and nothing indicating a laundry room. Went back to reception and was told it’s in the WC (watercloset, meaning washroom). Never would have guessed that. Machines are really small. Travelling carryon only for 2 weeks we need good laundry facilities so this was disappointing. The apartment itself was clean with a large shower. Bed was kinda hard, but not the worst I’ve slept on. Kitchen had good supplies.

Fab base for exploring Berlin, really easy to reach from underground station. Perfect room for our family of 3, toaster, kettle, microwave hob, fridge. Really peaceful rooms with no noise from other occupants, sofa bed for our daughter which was really comfy and the bed in min and husbands bedroom was great. views not great but a little balcony when its warm

This is a great hotel. The staff is friendly and extremely helpful. The room was spacious, clean, and so comfortable. It was close to all the tourist attractions so we could easily walk to everything. Parking is extremely limited so if you are driving make sure to call ahead and reserve a spot.

Very clean and easy to locate. Just several minutes walk from the Checkpoint Charlie underground station so easy to access other parts of the city. Staff were very helpful and the hotel is in a quiet area.

Super walkable to checkpoint Charlie, brandenburg gate and memorial to the murdered Jews of Europe. Lots of dining and Shopping option close by. Felt very safe our entire stay. The staff were lovely and helpful. Room was sizeable and comfortable. The only negative is the hallways are kind of dark.

It is a nice place at an excellent location. The building is off the street in a quiet area. The suite is spacious, with a balcony with a nice view. Everything is clean. The receptionists are very friendly and helpful.

While we understand this was a mechanical issue, the lack of the elevator often caused long delays in getting an elevator to take us from the 5th floor. They were often filled by higher floors

Awful from start to finish. Parking in the carpark, and getting to the room was a challenge, past cages of laundry. The lighting is awful, no direction to get to room and when lighting is as low as it was it makes it difficult. No aircon, stained furniture. Me and my partner both got bitten by something living in there (fleas i think) didnt end up staying more than the 1 night as we arrived late, and couldn't get anywhere last minute, so left early next day. Wasps are a problem, the area itself reminds me of a not so nice area in most towns. Smell of marijuana is very off putting. Refused to refund additional nights after explaining what happened, offered a room change but was told it was the exact same. The bed itself was extremely hard, and my partner nearly cried walking into that room. I wont be making the same mistake again. Please save yourselves from this hole and book elsewhere. I would recommend mandala suites a couple miles up the road

The hotel is absolutely gorgeous and situated only a 5 minute walk from the busy area of Checkpoint Charlie. Staff were all so lovely and couldn’t do enough for you! Rooms are spotless and so well equipped (the air conditioning is a real life saver)!

I cannot recommend
The only saving grace of this place is the reception staff, everything else is very much not up to standard. The bar is closed. The roof top terrace is closed. The elevator is broken so getting to the 9th floor roof terrace is tricky anyway. The rooms are shabby and marked the TV doesn’t work. The bed is so hard I may as well have slept on the floor. The shower sprays water exclusively out the side of the head meaning you can’t rinse shampoo out of your hair but you can cover the bathroom in water. There is no air conditioning in a city that frequently experiences temperatures above 30 degrees Celsius. Cleaning staff came into our room despite us clearly hanging up the ‘do not disturb’ sign. They didn’t bother changing a sheet that had a mark on it but they did throw away things that we had wanted to keep. I thoroughly regret my decision to book here, people should avoid at all costs.

Location is OK but nor fantastic. You can manage pretty well by combining bus & metro. The property was pretty modern although the setting is a bit weird, it's in an inner court with a residential building across (your view). The main elevator was out of service so everyone needed to go to the far end regardless of location of your room on the floor. The Spa is located in teh basement floor with no signs anywhere, we were told it's in the basement. We took the elevator to the basement, got out to a hotel supply and working area and by luck didn't get locked into a storage room that can be opened only from the outside (was pure luck that we didn't at the last minute, scary)!!! When we got back upstairs I told the front desk what happened, they showed us the way, turns out you need to go to the back yard and there's a staircase going down. Why hide it and not hand a single sign in the lobby? Why not have blocks on the elevator preventing guests from getting to a storage area at -1 (we would have spent the night in the storage area probably as there was probably no cell reception and no way to notify anyone?

We were very positively surprised about the beautiful, well equipped studio. It was perfectly furnished for our 5 night stay. The Kochstraße subway station is just a 3 minute walk away and got us anyway in a jiffy. And right there is also a supermarket.

Fabulous Apartment
Absolutely fab aparthotel. We were 2 friends staying in a Premium apartment with balcony. We had a double bedroom with a separate double sofa bed. Even with the sofa bed made up in the lounge there was tons of room. A well equipped kitchen area, dining table and a large bathroom with the best shower ever. On the whole it was very clean although they should have swept under the beds. The view from the balcony was over a little park area with a children's nursery opposite. Such fun to watch the kids arrive in the morning. The reception staff were also very helpful especially Leon and Sheima. Best apartment we've ever had! Only 2 or 3 minutes walk from buses, Kochstrasse underground, Checkpoint Charlie and there's a Lidl round the corner. Loads of restaurants/cafes nearby too.

Decent room - appalling service
The room was an excellent size and beds were super-comfortable. So far so good. However for a three night stay they only cleaned the rooms on the first night despite me requesting the rooms to be cleaned on the other two days. The manager was extremely apologetic on checkout but the staff seemed like they couldn’t care less. A real shame because the property, the rooms and surroundings are lovely.
