Great location, great room & breakfast available. Slightly concerned that 20 minutes after arriving to our room someone else unlocked our door and said they’d been assigned this room. After asking the staff what happened they said “it doesn’t usually happen” but never apologised

Great staff
first two nights spent in room for 6 - 2. floor towards playground. Very noisy at night until app. 11pm - after that ok. Third night in a very nice comfortable new room in new building on 4th floor - still noise from yard, but very high standard room with own bath and toilet and only 3 beds. Service at front desk very good and friendly.

Overall a nice stay
This is a good hostel in Berlin. Everything worked out as expected. The only concern is the numerous groups of youth staying in the hostel that are unbelievably loud until quite late and start again early in the morning. That means you can actually sleep slightly less than 8 hours because the rooms are not soundproof. The hostel also lack a power socket close to the bed. Otherwise there was no issues. The breakfast exceeded my expectation with a nice variety of standard breakfast items.

Good value for price.
We loved the clean room and the BREAKFAST!!! There was an issue with heating but they changed the room immediately. One downside was that there are no towels in the room and you have to bring your own or buy new if you didn't check for that like we didn't :(

Full of young kids
The hostel is full of kids under the age of 18. It seems like they have heaps of school trips all the time. This is a terrible environment for young adults who are in Berlin to party. We are surrounded by children (who are very rude!)

Cost Effective no thrills hotel
We were looking for cheap accommodation when attending a festival in Berlin. This place was good value and comfortable enough for us. It was 10 mins from the nearest transport node which was great and the included breakfast was great value. Our room had a bunk bed, table and its own bathroom.

The room was nice, I stayed in a 4 bed female dorm. I only stayed one night, but it was comfortable. The buffet style breakfast was enjoyable. The only downside is that there is no elevator, and my room was on the 3rd floor.

Nice place for budget travelers with car
It was generally a nice and rather cheap stay. With free parking and close enough to the center. I would suggest this place to budget travelers who are going to Berlin by car.

Close to the center clean and safe hostel
The hostel was situated close to the city center with all the sites within walking distance. Inside the room was nice and clean and comfortable. Our room was on the 5th floor, very quiet and facing the courtyard. Since we arrived earlier than the check-in time we were able to store our belongings in the storage room free of charge. If you do stay here, bring towels! Breakfast was very good: a wide selection of breads, some cheese and meat, coffee/tea/hot chocolate, some juice, yogurt, cereal/musli and fruit. Overall the staff are nice and friendly.

Not a friendly front desk. Delicious breakfast.
The front desk people are not welcoming. No greeting, and it seems like they don't like thier job. The lady that works in the kitchen was wonderful. Very helpful and very sweet.

Decent and spacious hostel
Because of my flight, it was around midnight when I checked in, but the process was smooth and the person at reception was thoughtful enought to give me an empty room! There were 2 sinks with mirrors and outlets in a 5-6 person room, and the lockers big enough to fit in my carrier. It's a large, slightly old-fashioned hostel, meaning you have to cover your own sheets, but no biggy. No personal oulet next to the beds but plenty in the room, public showers and toilets were spacious and warm, food was good. A lot of guests were families or students on school trips. Overall, I had a great stay, and definitely will come back if I return to Berlin on a budget:)

there is clean place and very comfort place here
the cleanses of place was very good and TV room was extermly good also breakfast was fine , services was good and also caring staff , there was a bus stop just around corner which can get you to city by number 29 , this bus drop you off next to check point charlie , easy access to airport via public transport too

Great location with a great breakfast
Staff was very helpful and friendly. I called in advance to inform of a late check-in and they sent me detailed instructions for getting to the hostel with public transportation (there's a bus stop right on the corner of the hostel). Great location, it's close to Tiergarten and a nice stroll to Brandenburg Gate. The room (dorm for 4 people) was very spacious and clean, bed was comfortable. Also the bathroom area was very clean. Breakfast really impressed me both for the quality and variety.

Great stay for the unbelievably cheap price!
We stayed for one night only in a twin room for an unbelievably cheap price - $20 per night!!! We expected to get twin room with shared bathroom and were so surprised to see shower and toilet inside our room! And don't forget free breakfast + free wi-fi everywhere! The location is good: close to Tiergarten, 15 min walk to Potsdamer Platz, 10 min walk to Kurfürstenstrasse subway station. We payed for our stay at the time of making the reservation through hotels.com and got confirmation from my sister's bank that $20 dollars were charged from her account. But when checking-in we were told by the staff at the reception that the hostel hadn't received the money. I showed them paper confirmation from hotels.com saying that the reservation was paid in full. We agreed that everything is ok and I don't have to pay anything (beside €10 deposit for the key which was going to be returned to me on check-out). But later I received message from my bank stating that my card was charged for €20. In fact I used my card when making another reservation in the hostel (with payment upon check-in + free cancellation) but I cancelled it 2 months before so I think it was some kind of mistake and my card was charged for that cancelled reservation. But huge respect + thanks to the staff at the reception and the manager! They reacted very awesome trying to find out what really happened and ended up giving me back 20 euros in cash. Thank you again for the help and understanding! I really appreciated it

Okay hostel
Overall it's an okay place to stay. The staff was helpful and the room was clean. Even though it's within walking distance of some tourist attractions, I would look for a hostel that's near more things to do. Its kind of out of the way. Also I felt like I was staying in a nursing home. The average age was over 50.

Close to City Center
The hostel was one of the better ones I have stayed at. It was non intrusive, and the breakfast was pretty good. It relatively close to the city center, and definitely within walking distance of many sites. If you needed to take a train, a stop was just 2 blocks away. Overall it was a good stay.

Fællesarealerne bære præg at de er indrettet til skoleklasser, men værelserne er moderne og rene. Beliggenheden fås ikke meget bedre, især når man kommer i bil, med fin parkering bag bygningen. 2 min. gang til Potsdammerplatz og 5 min til Brandenburger Tor.

Was at this hostel as an solo traveller. I was disappointed with the enviroment which was very quiet and isolated. This is not the place if you want to meet and talk to people. The room climate was very warm I coulden't sleep well at night. The only good thing though was their breakfast.

Bad check-in, the rest a fine experience.
I had booked a private room for 4 people, for 3 nights. When we arrived I was told that I had cancelled my booking, and therefore they didn't have a room for us. But I had not cancelled anything! I had even received an email a few hours earlier from Hotels.com about the upcoming stay. They checked again after a few times saying it was my mistake, and the receptionist figured out it was a colleague who had cancelled it. But they managed to moved around some of the other guests to free up a room for us for the night. We were told we had to move to another room for the next night. But we ended up staying in the same room all of our stay. Food was fine, lots of young people on school trip stays in this hostel. The building and interior is very old.

Für eine Stadtreise ist es ideal gewesen. Die Herberge ist in einer guten Lage und das Frühstück ist lecker. Allerdings sind die Wände etwas hellhörig aber es ist sauber und der Service ist ausgezeichnet. Jederzeit wieder einen Besuch wert.

ポツダム広場から歩いて20分くらいのところにあります。 バックパッカーの旅の宿泊所として利用しましたが、とても満足でした。部屋には鍵付きのロッカーが一人一人あります。私は5人部屋でした。 部屋にコンセントは2つしかないので延長コードは必須かも。 とてもお手頃価格ですが、朝食はビュッフェ形式でとてもよかったです。
