“Hotel Insor”

Positief -Goede locatie, restaurantjes en winkeltjes zijn op loopafstand en de wijk geeft een prettig en veilig gevoel Negatief -Geen schoonmaken van de kamer tussendoor -Gedeelde badkamer (geen eigen toilet/douche) -Vaak niemand van het hotel aanwezig: wij wouden de sleutel afgeven rond tien uur 's morgens maar er was niemand aanwezig en we moesten de sleutel inleveren bij de bistro aan de overkant -Onverwacht direct betalen

Area recommendations
Friedrichshain is een fantastische buurt, er zitten veel betaalbare restaurantjes met heerlijk eten en er zitten veel winkels. Het is de oude punkbuurt van Berlijn dus overal zijn prachtige graffitikunstwerken. Ondanks dat er veel aparte types rondlopen had ik absoluut geen onveilig gevoel. Alles is ook op loopafstand.
Getting around
Met de auto is het prima te doen maar er zijn ook veel mogelijkheden voor openbaar vervoer.
Must see
Zoologischer Garten Berlin is een hele mooie dierentuin waar je lekker kunt wandelen en de vele diersoorten in zo veel mogelijk op de natuur lijkende verblijven kunt bekijken (o.a. de beroemde ijsbeer Knut)
Dining
Bakkerij/café Olive is erg gezellig en niet al te duur. Het ontbijtmenu heeft niet zo heel veel keuzes maar stuk voor stuk zijn het uitgebreide ontbijten met lekkere broodjes en veel beleg. Echt een aanrader!
