“Would return”

Very quiet hotel, well appointed contemporary rooms, excellent food. Staff extremely helpful and welcoming. Would return as excellent location for sightseeing, close to rail network.

Very nice little hotel. Very well located - right next to Ostbahnhof with excellent links to everywhere in Berlin. Friendly staff. Very good breakfast. Were able to check in early as well. Would stay again tomorrow.

“Excellent Hotel (but no air con)”

The hotel was 4 star throughout. Friendly and helpfull staff - excellent food - every thing you could ask for breakfast - enclosed courtyard. We had a residence suite and had loads of room with cooking facitlites, microwave and sink. There is a Galleria Kuafhof department store (with food hall) next door. Transoprt to and from Tegel airport was 25 to 30 euros in a taxi or much less in the S-Bahn. The local station, Ostbahnhof, for the S-Bahn is a 2 minute walk from the hotel and then only 2 stops from a vast choice of restaurants at Alexander Platz and then Hackescher Markt and 4 stops from the centre. There was only one negative aspect to this hotel. When we checked in we were told there was no air conditioning and that the room allocated to us was on the top floor and got very warm in the current high temperatures. We were offered a smoking room on the second floor that would be less affected by the outside temperature but we declined and took the room on the 6th. The room did get very warm and we eventually requested a fan that was provided immediately. This is obviously only a problem when temperatures are in the upper 20's and higher.

“Stylish and friendly hotel with easy access to airport + al main tourist sites”

The Innside is centrally located, yet just over half an hour from Schonefeld Airport. That includes the 10 minute walk from the airport terminal to the rail station, a 20 minute journey on the airport express and 5 minutes walk at the other end from Ostbahnhof station. Ostbahnhof itself is just 4 short hops from Freidrichstrasse which will quickly link you to all the main S and U Bahn lines. Hotel itself is extremely quiet with rooms overlooking a central courtyard. The hotel staff couldn't have been more friendly or helpful. They allowed us to check Internet for no charge, using their office PC. When they booked a taxi to go out for a meal, it took 2 minutes to arrive and the charge was very reasonable. On our day of departure they sorted out a detailed rail itinerary to get us back to the airport as the normal service was disrupted due to engineering works. We managed to get a special deal including breakfast which was an excellent standard and wide variety of choice.An additional plus for me is that the hotel doesn't have air conditioning or noisy extractor vents which can be a nightmare if your room happens to be next to them. Other reviewers have mentioned the unusual "tube" showers which stand alone within the room. If you're a couple, these would not be a problem. The room was very comfortable and cleaned everyday to a high standard. Overall, a great place to stay. This was our second visit and would definitely go back.

“Great hotel located near Ostbahnhof”

The hotel was excellent conveniently locate near to Ostbahnhof. Staff were very helpful. Breakfasts excellent. The room was a good size, a little quirky with a fully enclosed shower cabinet next to the bed, but fine overall. The only slight negative was the location. Ostbahnhof is not the most salubrious area. We had no issues and impressions may be deceptive.

“Great service, some interesting room setups”

Stayed in this hotel for 4 nights at the start of May. Let me list the good and the bad. good: - Extremely clean - very modern - Fantastic service (allowed us to check in at midday, was always helpful, funny, good english, and always had a smile) They told us how expensive internet was and that we could use there front desk computer for emails. They also let us print out a 14 page document for free. - Pretty good location - 5min walf to the trains - Good cheap markets nearby. - Very quiet. bad: - Strange square pillow design that I just could not get comfortable on - I think it is standard with European hotels but wireless internet was way too expensive - 8 Euros an hour! Lots of free wi-fi cafes in Berlin if you bring your laptop. - Bathroom is awkward - It has an open window to the bedroom, lacking a little privacy. - Room was a little tiny.

“Great Hotel in handy location.”

Stayed for one night at this Innside Hotel. We booked a twin room, which was fine - very clean and immaculately presented room. However, beware - for those of you sharing with friends, as we were, the bathrooms have no doors and a window onto the bedroom area! It's all lovely, if you are a couple!!!! Anyway, we couldn't fault the hotel service - very helpful and they had signed for some tickets for us - before we arrived, as we were going to show at the 02 world that night (15 minutes walk). The breakfast was superb, and lovly to eat out on the terrace area. Our only problem was with the HEAT in the room. We were on the 6th floor, and our room was soooo hot! It was late when we returned, so we felt it was too late to ask to swap rooms. We had the windows open, but this did not help. Anyway, our stay was great, and the hotel was quiet and clean throughout. Easy to find, a quick walk from the Ostbahnhof.
