“Comfortable and quiet”

The hotel was a bit out of the center of the city, but it was located right at a tram stop, so it was easy to get to. My room was comfortable and quiet; the bed was a little soft but not so much that I had trouble sleeping. There was a hotel bar and breakfast buffet as well.

“HARD WORK!!!”

DUE TO THE FACT THAT THE HOTEL WAS SO FAR AWAY - I WAS EXHAUSTED TRYING TO GET ROUND THE CITY BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT.

Area recommendations
HOTEL PANKOW IS NOT SITUATED IN TOWN CENTRE - IT IS NOT EVEN ON THE CITY CENTRE MAP!! I HAD TO TAKE A TAXI ONCE I GOT OFF THE UNDERGROUD. IT IS THE ORIGINAL EAST BERLIN WHICH LOOKS POOR AND GRAFFITTI RIDDEN. THE PEOPLE WERE LOVELY BUT THE LOCAL S BAN, U BAN AND TRAMS WHERE A LITTLE CONFUSING. HARDLY ANYONE SPEAKS ENGLISH. FOOD IS CHEAP. THE HOTEL WAS CLEAN, STAFF FRIENDLY BUT BREAKFAST VERY BASIC. MY ROOM DID NOT HAVE A FLAT PANEL TV AND NO CABLE. ALL CHANNELS APART FROM NEWS WERE IN GERMAN. HOWEVER, I WOULD GO BACK TO BERLIN BUT STAY CLOSER TO THE CITY!!

“Accommodating and Affordable”

the staff was very accommodating, let us check in early, gave us a european plug to charge my computer, let us check out late, stored our bags for free, the location was pretty good, fairly easy to get into the city center in less than 15min., that being said the hotel is very close to the tram and you can hear it from the rooms, may not be the best for light sleepers, the breakfast was a little pricey for the selection, but overall it was nice. the staff is very nice and helpful.

“Just about Froze”

The hotel staff was very nice and helpful. But the room itself wasn't really that great. It was clean and not comfortable. You could feel every spring in the bed and there wasn't any heating in the room. It was about 63 degrees in the room (17 degress Celsius) and never got warmer. When it's only 25 degrees outside (-4 Celsius) you want to come into a warm room which we did not have. The hotel also wasn't in the best of neighborhoods. I would not recommend this hotel not really worth the money saved.

“Room was tight, but couldn't complain with the price.”

Right of local transportation, at front door. A couple of good cheap eating places within walking distance.

“Not Centrally Located”

Despite its claim, this hotel is not centrally located in Berlin. The price is reasonable, and for that it may deserve some consideration, but don't expect to be walking from your hotel to Brandenburg Gate. Taking a couple of different trains, one can travel from the hotel to the Berlin city center in about 30 minutes. Rooms are minimal, but basically adequate. Shower curtain was too short and floor was soaked. Be prepared for possibility that staff may not speak any English.

“Hotel Pankow, banlieue de Berlin”

Etonnant lorsqu'on lit la description, Il s'agit plus d'un hotel formule 1 qu'un 3 étoiles! Accueil moyen, ni Français ni Anglais. L'hotel n'est pas du tout en centre ville comme indiqué, il faut prendre pulsieurs transports pour aller à Berlin. Je ne recommanderais pas cet hotel.
