Very nice hotel, not far from downtown Berlin
We arrived in the evening, and had family room booked - it was very spacious - easily accommodating family of four, and even bathroom is very big! There is a mini fridge so you could keep milk or beers chilled. Hotel is very clean and the restaurant downstairs served us a very good meal. There is a variety of parking there - underground which is not included (extra) but ground level parking is free - and still well hidden from the street. Downtown Berlin is only 15 min away by car, and there are additional restaurants nearby as well. We had a very nice stay there. Staff is very friendly - I actually left my wallet unattended at the reception for 5 min, and when I went back to collect it, staff kept it for me safe and sound! I'd stay there again. Keep in mind that WIFI is extra - and they charge per device (4 euro/day) It's not very large hotel, but they do have only one elevator - and it is interesting that despite very spacious rooms, corridors are rather narrow, and to some rooms you have to navigate via multiple doors on the hallway - which gets little awkward you if you carry lots of bags...

Cons: no airconditioning. Not even a fan. So it was a bit hot Internet is 12 euros for 1 week but is locked to one computer not for a room which can be tricky. We ended up paying 24 euros which is not bad but i felt like i was tricked. Fast internet. And lastly, it was relatively quiet area but since we had to open the windows because of the heat, we ended up waking up early every day. Pros: rooms are spacious and clean. Daily housekeeping. Infront of bus station which takes you to pankow train station. One more thing, tv has more than 90 channels but none of them are in english. Some are in polish though. All in all, this hotel is solid for sleeping in.

very good basic hotel
As a diamond Hilton member we were very pleased with this hotel.It's basic but good. Very large room and clean.Beds were comfortable . Could open the windows .Parking was no problem. It's not close to the center of Berlin but close to the Velodrome were we had a fair.

Big rooms and surprisingly convenient
This hotel is easy to get to, just off the top of the free map the bus people give you. The quickest way we found was from Alexanderplatz take No M2 tram to Ostseestrasse, then get the 156 bus (right next to the tram stop) to the hotel at the end of Gustav-Adolf Str. It's about 15 minutes total from the centre, maybe 20 in traffic. We ate in the centre and felt quite safe (with our children) coming back after 11. The room was huge, the fridge was really useful. No noise from inside the hotel. Some music and voices from the cafe below at the back, but that was over by midnight every night even Friday, Internet was 10 euros for three days. Cold beer machine by the lift. I'd use this hotel again.

Huge Room
We are 3 Adults, 30 motels, 6 week European vaction. Massive Room. We could really unwind unpack and regroup in this room. Large bathroom, fridge in room. WiFi free and worked well in room. Did not have breakfast so cant comment. Accross road from Hotel is bus station. Take any bus from there next stop is train staion. You can go anywhere in Berlin from this station and back again. Parking is out the back in open lot, plenty of parking and free. Highly recommend this room

Room is modern and bathroom modern. No tea or coffee making facilities. No mini bar. Paring available. Wifi available in room at a charge. Bus stop outside door and bus runs every 10 minutes. Bus takes you to a major train station and a few minutes into centre of Berlin. The transport is actually easy although I had my doubts to start Good value at the rate we paid.

Berlin's Hotel Weissensee
If you don't mind riding the tram, the Hotel Weissensee may be a good choice. It is a nice, clean, friendly hotel in a quiet Berlin suburb. The price performance would be difficult to match anywhere else in Berlin.

Don't let the location of this hotel deter you as there are 2 bus stops within 1 min walk of hotel (1 is literally right outside the hotel entrance) providing easy connection to the excellent Berlin transport system. Room and bathroom were of a good size and the staff were both courteous and helpful.

me and my boyfriend stayed at this hotel for 4 days, the hotel was nice and the room was nice as well. The hotel was quite far from the city centre and you had to take a bus and tram to visit the city centre. The area is not the best place to stay. The staff at the bar was very helpfull and very polite although the lady receptionist (afternoon shift ) at the customer service desk was very very rude and not helpfull at all. When we asked her to show on the map some of the closest destinations where to dine she denied to help and told that she couldn't help us. She did the same with other customers as well. In general the hotel is nice but i wouldn't put it in the category of a 3 stars hotel!!

Comfort Hotel Weissensee
The hotel was very comfortable as we were given a huge room (at lease 50 square meter) which looks like an executive room. wireless internet costs EUR 8 for 24 hours. to get to the hotel, just take Tram 12 and get off at the final stop. the hotel is in a calm residential area in Weissensee and we feel very safe.

Nice place inside. So-so neighborhood. About 15 minutes from the sights of east berlin via underground+bus. Bus stop right in front of hotel. Comfortable beds, our room had a nice balcony. Expensive breakfast buffet, but was delicious. wi-fi charged per hour or day. Great customer service. Overall good experience, especially for the price!

Excellent family hotel in Berlin
Comfort Hotel Weissensee in Berlin is an excellent hotel for a family. Room rates are very well worth checking (nearly bargain). We are a family of two adults and two smaller kids. They have bedsofas for the kids, and there is still room left to move around. Ask for the larger family room, though. The hotel is located in a pretty calm area. The main noise is from the airplanes, but you never get rid of them in Berlin with centrally located ariports. Cleaning is excellent, first class hotel level. Reception service is top class. Do not be afraid of he distance to town. Tram from Alexanderplatz (M2) is quick also in peak hours. Connection bus (156) works perfectly all the way to the hotel. A public transport daily ticket (or equivalent) is cheap, and you might need it anyway. Have a pleasent stay.

Hotel in Weissensee
Anlässlich eines Berlin- Kurzaufenthaltes buchte ich das Hotel über das Internet, ohne vorherige Ortskenntnisse, nur über Karte angeschaut. So mussten wir feststellen, das es an einer viel befahrenen Straße liegt, ein Eckgrundstück, die Seitenstraße mit Kopfsteinpflaster. Leider waren die Fenster nicht schalldicht, sodass nur in wenige Stunden in der Nacht Ruhe herrschte. Der Zustand der Zimmer war ordentlich und auch sauber. Zu diesem Punkt kann ich wirklich nichts nachteiliges sagen. Auch die Damen an der Rezeption waren kompetent und freundlich. Schade, das das Hotel kein Restaurant hat, lohnt wahrscheinlich nicht. Sucht man eine Gaststätte, muss man einigen Weg auf sich nehmen. Die Frühstückskellner könnten einen Kurs in Freundlichkeit und Zuvorkommenheit brauchen, die Art war sehr direkt, manchmal schon etwas barsch, ging grad noch so. Da das Hotel gut belegt war, fehlten immer wieder einzelne Dinge am Buffet. Montag gab es gar keine Butter, Dienstag war das Brot bereits 8:15 Uhr alle, Mittwoch war der Kaffee sehr bitter... . Will man mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln in die Innenstadt, muss man erst mit dem Bus bis Pankow und dann mit der S- oder U- Bahn weiter, etwas umständlich, deshalb werde ich bei der nächsten Berlin- Reise ein Hotel näher an einer S- Bahnhaltestelle suchen.

vores tur til berlin var dejlig og indholdsrig. Vedr: Hotelet så var vi trætte af at vi ikke kunne spise der om aftenen og heller ikke få kaffe om aftene. Så vi overvejer at finde et andet hotel til næste år, selvom at vi har boet der de sidste 12 år, men pga af at de har lukket restaurant så finder vi nok et andet desværre...

Helppoa majoittumista parin päivän ja 2 yön reissulla. Liikenteen pahin häly kaukana ja suora reitti keskustaan. Ainoa miinus julkisen liikenteen puute, mutta se ei ole hotellin vika. Hyvä mesta!

Rigtig fint hotel i forhold til prisen, rigtig fin pris på opholdet, godt nok udenfor selve centrum, men nemt at kommer derind. Rigtig gode og hårde senge ikke noget med "hængekøjer" her. Rigtig fine badeværelser. Ikke sidste gang vi besøger dette hotel.

Hotel mit sehr gutem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis
Wir (3 Erw und ein Kind 14 Jahre) waren für 4 Tage in diesem Hotel und können nur sagen das das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis absolut zufriedenstellend ist. Für einen Trip nach Berlin würde ich jederzeit dieses Hotel weiter empfehlen. Was auch sehr nett ist, ist die Tatsache das kostenfreie Parkplätze am Hotel und im nahen Umfeld vorhanden sind.

Alejado del centro pero mereció la pena
Aunque estaba un poco alejado del centro de Berlín se podía llegar de manera más o menos fácil (cogiendo un autobús y un tranvía) pero la primera vez nos perdimos. El hotel es fantástico, realmente barato para la atención que ofrecen. En las cercanías hay un supermercado muy barato.

1 Woche Berlin Erlebnisreise mit 3Kindern. Zimmer war gross und voll ok. Wir hatten nur Ü gebucht. Bus direkt vor der Tür. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten problemlis mit ÖVM zu erreichen. Hotel etwas abseits, was mir aber recht war.

Prima hotel, ondanks de afstand tot het centrum.
Prima hotel, alleen wat ver van het centrum. Echter uitstekende openbaar vervoer mogelijkheden op slechts een paar meter van het hotel. Binnen 20 min met bus en S-Bahn in hartje centrum. Drukke straat en veel vliegverkeer, maar met de ramen gesloten nergens last van gehad. Gehorigheid viel dus enorm mee.In het hotel hebben wij geen onbijt gebruikt, dus daar kan ik niets over zeggen, maar de onbijtzaal zag er goed verzorgt uit. Ik zou het hotel aanraden indien men geen bezwaar heeft tegen een beetje reizen met het openbaar vervoer.

Fint værelse, meget støj fra vej og kedelig bufet.
Vi fik et fint og billigt værelse med god plads :-). Desværre var værelset mod vejen (anden sal) og tæt på lufthavns indflyvningen. Og da der ikke var aircondition på værelset (burde vi nok have undersøgt først), var vi nødt til at have vinduer åbne hele natten (+30°C) hvilket resulterede i ret meget støj på værelset! :-( Morgenmads buffeten var efter vores mening for dyr i forhold til kvaliteten. Personalet på hotellet var flinke og meget venlige. Jeg tror ikke vi vælger dette hotel igen, i hvert fald ikke i Sommer månederne, ellers husk ørepropper.
