"Good location, close to Museum Island and U-Bahn"
I was upgraded from a standard to a deluxe room and it was one of the nicest rooms I have ever stayed in.
The location was great; ten minutes walk to museum island, fifteen minutes to checkpoint Charlie and a good U-Bahn line two minutes walk away.
The staff were helpful with directions when I needed them.
Only downside is that it would have been six euros a day for wi-fi, which many hotels now include for free.

Small hotel/pension on 4th. floor just a couple of minutes walk from Kürfurstendamm, U-bahn and buss routes.
Exceptionally clean, quiet and in a convenient location. Owner is very helpful in providing local knowledge, best options for travel etc and speaks fluent English. Breakfast is buffet style.
Suffice it to say I will be staying there for my next visit. Highly recommended.
Very nice staff. They speak very little English, so it is best if you know enough German to communicate. The house is small and simple, but clean and adequate. Breakfast is surprisingly good. The best part is the convenient location. Close to public transportation and main street but the house is on a very quiet street.

Arrived later than expected due to problem getting a taxi at Tegel flugplatz. It was probably down to Germany spanking Brazil in the World Cup 2014 (7-1) and everyone watching /listening to the football! Single Rooms were big enough and bathroom spotless- could have eaten your meals off the floor. Bed very comfy. Did not try catering but bar average for hotel and proximity. But found a "local" bar within 10 mins walk of hotel where treated like locals.not auslanders.

I like this place for lots of reasons: decent rooms, choice of pillows, comfortable beds, good showers, the onsite bistro, helpful staff, room service breakfast, and proximity to work and transportation. However, I find it difficult to recommend for tourists. I know it's only a 10 minute walk from Potsdamer Platz but, in the depths of winter, I'd rather it was a little closer to restaurants and activities - the bar serves only snack food and I just want a bit more on an evening. And in common with other Berlin hotels, they still have only two single duvets on large beds.
We were a group of 6 ladies visiting Berlin for the first time. The twin rooms we requested were excellent. Spotlessly clean, comfortable beds. Although the temperature outside was below freezing the rooms were comfortably warm. The staff were polite, efficient and friendly. On the second morning the breakfast waitress even remembered which of us wanted tea/coffee without any prompting. The choice of food for breakfast was excellent although if you do not have a hearty appetite €22 was a little on the high side. We would have appreciated free WiFi as this would have helped us plan our itinerary more effectively. Would definitely recommend this hotel and hope to return sometime in the future.
very good hotel and walking distance to Alexanderplatz, trains, trams and buses all very close and acceptable. breakfast was very good but the hot food was always cold. our room was constantly warm despite having no heating on at all. very clean rooms and well maintained with a kettle for a morning cuppa. staff were excellent in every way and always wanted to help and we would definitely recommend a stay there. we stayed in mid october and will definitely go back. Berlin is a truly remarkable place and full of history and lots to do.
It is a very good hostel. The staff is very nice. The condition, the room confort and the facilities of the place are for sure the best that I have seen in this kind of hostel. I really recommend this hostel.
