“Good hotel with good location!”

The hotel is new and it is very close to the metro station. If İ come to Berlin again, I'd definitely stay at this hotel. The reception staff is very nice. Do not hesitate to stay here.

“Good hotel”

The area around the hotel might be quiet but we found it ideal for a couple of nights while we were passing through Berlin. Front desk staff were friendly & helpful (we'd arrived on a late flight from England), room was clean & tidy, if you want to make coffee in your room ask at reception and they'll give you a box with the requisite equipment for no charge. Inside the lobby there are free internet terminals and a bar. There were a couple of large groups using the hotel so breakfast was a bit hectic but there's a bakery across the street providing another option. Didn't see too many restaurants close by but it's just a few stops on the U-Bahn (U2) into the Prenzlauer Berg district (we got off at Eberswalderstrasse) where there's plenty of bars and food options. I'd definately use the hotel again

“Fabulous Berlin Mitte Retreat”

We were so pleased with everything! Location, Service, Comfort etc. Tea and coffee makers were a real perk! The staff was particularly wonderful and were very helpful in assisting us in locating lost luggage at the airport!! Bathrooms were large and tres chic. Breakfasts were sumptuous, but if you wanted something small or a lunch and/or a snack there are wonderful small cafes right outside the door. Would recommend this place to anyone who would like to stay in Berlin city central.

Clean, well maintained hotel in good central location. Good value.

“You can do better, trust me.”

The wifi is only in the lobby, which means that at any given time it is full of people milling around. The individual rooms are supposed to have internet, but ours did not work. We were told that, "yeah, some of the rooms just don't have functioning internet." They clearly did not know which rooms did and did not have working internet, because they could not just change our room to one that did work. There was no available parking spot when we got there at 10 pm, which means we had to drive around downtown looking for a street spot. The breakfast buffet was large and included, which was nice, and the room was clean, but very sparse and small.

“1st time in Berlin”

Best Western hotel am Spittelmarky is totally central and excellent value for money. It is located in a quiet residencial area and though there isn't much around it, the tube station is only 5min away. The room was very nice, clean, and confortable even though we had two single matresses on a double bed; and the shower was amazing. The staff were always friendly and helpful. Breakfast was not included but we tried it one day. Though it was ok we felt that it is not worth having it there unless you are on a tight schedule. Berlin is full of very nice cafes that serve more exciting options for about the same price. We had a good and hassle free stay so I would definitely recommend it, and consider staying there again myself.

“Nice Hotel, not very close to the sites.”

Nice, clean hotel with very friendly staff. Location is OK but not great. No place to eat nearby. Metro station around the corner. It annoys me when I book for a double room and they put two single beds together instaed of an actual double bed.

“Worth the Search”

Centrally located within walking distance to the Museum Island, but hard to find if you drive (Even the locals don't know it). Once you are there, however, you discover it's only minutes from the next subway station and easy to get to. Two supermarkets and an excellent restaurant with local cuisine ("Am Spitteleck") are in easy walking distance; secure parking is available at Euro 10 per day. In addition to all the comfort you expect from a modern city hotel, this house offers the largest and most varied breakfast buffets I heve ever encountered - Buffets, since they fill two rooms separate from the four restaurant rooms. All of which is included in your room rate, as is customary in Germany. Next time in Berlin we'll be back...
