“Nicht so warm”

Friendly, helpful staff; good location if you want to be near Friedrichstrasse Station. The only drawbacks were the lack of heating in my room (cold air emerged no matter what temperature the gauge was on), the rather odd configuration of the basin and shower (next to a window onto the street), and what might politely be described as a 'Euroscrum' at breakfast - a bit boisterous for a Sunday morning. But on the whole the hotel offers reasonable value and good service, if rather little character (but isn't much modern German architecture and design ein bisschen kalt?).

“Berlin trip”

No problems from check in at the airport, hotel and return trip

Kartoffelkeller restaurant only a few yards from my hotel. Local food at a resonable price and friendly helpful staff. Well woth a visit.

“Never Again”

Please see above. This hotel was poorly run and had very small rooms. I would not recommend it, nor would I stay there again.

“Good, but very small room”

It's in a good location near TXL airport bus stop, main train station, and Berlin-Mitte (Brandenburg Gate, museum island, etc.) The staff spoke English and were courteous but didn't know about nearby Medicine History museum. The room was quiet but very small and shower only. The rate including internet was reasonable as was the additional price for the buffet breakfast.

Berlin-Mitte; also Potsdam via s-bahn or train
Traveller's tip
The park and palaces of the Prussian emperors at Potsdam (Sans Souci and Neues Palace) are beautiful. We found the Weihnachtsmarkts (Christmas markets) better in Dresden than Berlin.

“Very good hotel in Berlin, Excellent location”

We spent 5 marvellous days in this hotel. Rooms are a bit small but very confortable. We did not use the hotel facilities nor the breakfast. We recommand this hotel that has a very convienient location near Frederickstrasse station.

“Das Hotel ist ideal für eine kurze Städtereise da es eine zentrale Lage hat.”

Die Zimmer sind zwar klein, aber zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Die optimale Lage macht dieses Hotel für Stadtreisen attraktiv. Trotzdem liegt das Hotel an einer ruhigen Straße.

Area recommendations
In der Nähe sind gute Restaurants und Lokale die man gut zu Fuß erreichen kann. Der Bahnhof Friedrichstrasse ist in ca. 5 Minuten und das Regierungsviertel in ca. 10 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen.

“Gutes Mittelklassehotel”

Für den Besuch der Museumsinsel und dem Friedrichstadtpalast ist dieses preisgünstige, sehr ruhig gelegene Hotel sehr gut geeignet, da es sich in unmittelbarer Nähe befindet. Nette Lokalitäten und öffentlicher Nahverkehr sind gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Das Personals war sehr freundliche und zuvorkommend. Leider roch es in der Toilette des Zimmers sehr unangenehm, wir hoffen jedoch, dass der gemeldete Mangel behoben wird. Auch fehlte uns ein Vergrößerungsspiegel am Waschtisch sowie Handtuchhalter auf der Toilette.

Rückseite der Harckschen Märkte mit kleinen Kellerläden, Frühstück außerhalb des Hotels in kleinen, netten Cafes zum kleinen Preis möglich und sehr lecker.

“Für einen Wochenendtrip ok”

Unser Zimmer lag zum Bunker hin, was uns nicht weiter gestört hat. Das Zimmer war sauber und die Betten bequem, gut funktionierende Klimaanlage die man bei 30° auch gut gebrauchen konnte. In unserem Zimmer war allerdings das Bad und WC sehr klein und der Durchgang ins Bad sehr eng. Der Flachbildfernseher war so angebracht dass man vom Bett aus gut gucken konnte und auch der kostenfreie Wlan Zugang hat gut funktioniert. Das Frühstücksbuffet hat uns sehr gut gefallen, alles da was das Herz begehrt und auch das Personal war sehr freundlich. Das Hotel ist vom Bahnhof Friedrichstrasse gut zu erreichen, an der Strasse dorthin gibt es diverse Möglichkeiten Essen zu gehen.

“posizione centralissima, a due passi dal Reichstag e dalla Porta di Brandeburgo”

L'hotel è abbastanza nuovo, niente di lussuoso (ovviamente, essendo un tre stelle). Il personale non brilla per gentilezza, ma fornisce comunque un servizio sufficiente e mi ha saputo dare le informazioni richieste. Le stanze sono piuttosto piccole, ma luminose e tutto sommato pulite. Il vero punto di forza dell'hotel è la posizione: a duecento metri da Friedrichstrasse, a un quarto d'ora a piedi dalla Porta di Brandeburgo e dal Reichstag, a meno di mezz'ora a piedi da Alexanderplatz, etc. Lo consiglio vivamente.
