“Andel's Berlin Hotel Review”

When we arrived we were welcomed warmly. We were given a twin room when we first arrived but we actually wanted a double. This wasn't a concern for them and they moved our room very efficiently. The bedroom is very modern and clean (although it did dake us a while to find the very well hidden wardrobe!). The bathroom is also very well maintained and the shower was brilliant! We enjoyed a full breakfast every morning and had a huge range of food to choose from which was all very good quality. The sky bar is relaxed and modern and the choice of drinks is fabulous. We arrived quite late on our first day and had already missed last orders on food so it would have been great if they sold snacks until late. The Hotel is out of town but it's not difficult getting into the centre of berlin, it only takes 10 minutes on the train. All in all we enjoyed our stay very much and would definately recommend staying there.

“Fantastic hotel and staff”

Fantastic hotel, great staff, very welcoming. On first night had complimentary water and treats left in room - lovely touch. Great breakfasts, lots of choice. Sky bar worth a visit on the 14th floor, fab view and great cocktails, only down side a little expensive. All staff extremely helpful and knowledgable especially the concierge. Although the neighbourhood is unexciting the fact that the tram and the s bahn stops are literally on the doorstop is a huge bonus. Also direct line from Schonenfeld airport to stop at hotel. There is a spa facility in the hotel and also a shop that sells souveniers and gifts at a competitive rate. Would definately recommend the hotel and would also have no hesitation in staying there if visiting Berin in the future.

Area recommendations
The area in east Berlin where Andels is is ideal as so easy to get to anywhere by tram or train. The S bahn line from Schonenfeld airpost goes directly past the hotal. Berlin is such a huge city that I don't think there is any specific area that is more adventageous as you will need public transport to get around regardless.

“Michael”

I'd liked this hotel a lot. A unpretentious but cool hotel. Out in the east but transport links are fatstic into the Mitte area of East Berlin and Alexanderplatz etc. There are some restaurants close by but go into town and enjoy yourself. Breakfast was a bit hectic on some mornings and some times you had to wait for food that had run out but it is aminor quiblle. Overall I would rcommend it.

“Great hotel”

Very nice modern hotel slightly out of the city centre but with great transport links with a train and tram stop right outside. Room very comfortable, clean and quiet - we were on 11th floor. Definitely recommend a cocktail in the hotel's sky bar at sunset, great cocktails and a great view over Berlin.

“Berlin agogo”

This hotel is well situated foe Schonenfeld airport being close to the over ground railway station - 50 metre walk. The airport is a 40 minute rail journey. The tram stops outside and goes to Andersplatz. The hotel breakfast is so good - the sky bar and cafe give excellent views. Would go back so it cannot be that bad.

Area recommendations
Neighbourhood has a few shops and restaurants around but Andersplatz is only a short tram

“Competitive pricing, super nice, easy access to trains”

I loved this place. The room was so nice I was initially scared to touch anything, it's conveniently located on the M6 light rail line, near the S-Bahn and two supermarkets, the concierge and front desk staff were very kind and helpful and the fitness centre and view from my window were icing on the cake. I would definitely use them again.

Getting around
Get a Berlin WelcomeCard for zones A, B and C, and you'll most likely never have to pay for a cab. The trains run like clockwork at almost all hours and and go pretty much everywhere.
Dining
Dolores California Gourmet Burrito, on Rosa Luxembourg Straβe, gets my vote. They're not quite as good as some burrito shops in California (I am spoiled and biased), but it's a nice slice of home away from home. They even had Anchor Steam! Now if only they'd add a TV somewhere on the premises - it would be a fun place to watch a Giants game...

“Super friendly helpful staff - grreat breakfast and convenient location”

Andell's hotel is across the road from Landsberger Allee S Bahn direct from Schoenefeld airport - simple to get to. Tram at same station and minutes from teh Alexanderplatz - where the action is happening each evening. Hotel is excellent and friendly staff - very helpful when one of our party left passport in room safe on departure. Spa facilities were excellent - breakfast was plentiful and deliciious

Area recommendations
Alexanderplatz is lively each evening as is Haschberger Markt - prices are decent - similar to UK for standard meals.. Found the experience of Berlin very positive and will return to catch up on the things I missed - museums.

“Fantastic place”

Really great Hotel. Staff really friendly, room clean and comfortable. Breakfast lovely. Worth paying to use to the executive lounge. Brilliant holiday would love to return.

“Comfortable hotel!”

Comfortable hotel, in front of train/tram station, easy to get around. Very nice room, organised and clean, delicious breakfast, nice service. I recommend and definetly would come back.

“Andel's Berlin”

Great hotel overall. I was there for a conference and found that it is a great location for such event. Overall I would recommend it. There was only two issues: Air Conditioning was really a problem within the conference (not within the rooms). It seems that the hotel was trying to save money on that front and all the conference attendees were complaining. Also the Internet service was really bad and expensive over all. It was not even free within the hotel lobby and the hotel area, and the quality was really flaky (sometimes fairly fast, and often very slow). But they still charged top prices for this service. Also, the food at the restaurant hotel was top quality.
