“Nice place to stay!!”

It was a good place - clean, comfortable and an amazing location! right next to a metro station! Would def. recommend staying here!!

“WOULD DEFO GO BACK!!!”

BERLIN IS THE BEST CITY I HAVE EVER BEEN TOO!! Woop woop!!. The hostel was very reasonable, we had a private room and everything was as expeceted. Clean, had single beds but could push them together to make a double. Location was brillant right next to main station and in a very trendy area of berlin. Only thing was lack of spirit within the hostel, staff seemed like they didnt want to be there and activities within the hostel were not promoted well. Over all - VERY PLEASED :) !!!!!!!!!!

Area recommendations
All of east berlin, stay in best night life and such cheap food. visit central berlin for sites etc. East berlin is defo a massive YES.

“Good location, avoid ground floor”

We had a twin on the ground floor of the 'hotel' - the curtains were see-through and passers by walked right past the windows til late at night til early morning, so best to ask that you don't get these rooms. This was the only downside. Loved the area, great transport links and good value for money.

“Amazing hoo. Tonds of shops, restaurants, and cafes.. I loved the locationa nd the staff were nice.”

It is worth every penny and the subway is around the corner, and you can be anywhere in like 20 min tops.. Amazing location..

Great cafe on the kiddy corner to the hotel.. I owuld go baqck again...

“hotel berlin est très bien desservi”

proche de la gare ostkreuz accueil chaleureux excellent petit déjeuner à prix très raisonnable très bonne literie il manque une lampe de lecture pour chaque lit ,une penderie et porte-manteaux dans la chambre et des support serviette dans la salle d'eau

“Hotel A”

Hotel A & O di Berlino a pochi minuti dalla stazione metropolitana S-bahn di Ostkreuz e da lì tra 10,15,max 20 comprensive di coincidenze U-bahn S-bahn tram e quant'altro per arrivare alle attrazioni turistiche più lontane Quando sono arrivato ho chiesto di pagare il supplemento per la colazione - decisamente a buon mercato- dopo aver sistemato i bagagli ed aver appurato che l'alloggio corrispondeva alle mie aspettative sono uscito ad effettuare la prima escursione per avere un primo impatto una prima idea sul come muovermi successivamente e sono andato sulla FernsehenTurm per osservare la città dall'alto . Tornando all'hotel esso si trova in un semi parco diviso in due palazzine una adibita puramente ad ostello ed un'altra con camere anche singole o doppie , probabilmente tutto il complesso doveva essere originariamente un unico grande ostello e se qualcuno volesse trovare una nota negativa era nel fatto che per fare colazione dovevo uscire dalla mia camera per andare a farla nel dining room dell'ostello ma comunque anche quest'ultimo era molto pulito . Nell'insieme intendo dire bene così

Non saprei posso dire che per me va bene l'area nella quale ho soggiornato naturalmente anche per la comodità dei mezzi di trasporto ma credo che questo fattore sia preponderante in tutta la città in quanto ritengo che i tedeschi siano estremamente perfezionisti in questo come in in altre cose tipo la ricostruzione fedele di monumenti come quelli che si trovano nel Pergamon Museum l'altare di Pergamo la porta di Mileto ed altri
Getting there
Una volta giunti ad Alexander Platz prendere S-bahn 7 o 75 ed anche altri e scendere alla stazione di Ostkreuz e da lì meno di 10 minuti a piedi
Must see
L'isola di musei e su tutti l'altare di Pergamo, la porta di Ishtar, la porta del mercato di Mileto nel Pergamon Museum ed il busto di Nefertiti nel Neues Museum --- i monumenti cittadini su tutti la porta di Brandeburgo il Reichstag ed altri ancora e se avete tempo sufficiente una giornata si può dedicare prendendo l'S-bahn 7 per andare a Potsdam e fare un'escursione nel parco di Sanssouci a visitare i castelli e la residenza imperiale

“A6O Hostel Berlin Friedrichshein”

Das Hotel liegt verkehrsgünstig und mitten im tollen stadtteil friesdrichshein. wenn mann nur zum schlafen da ist ist es ein rel. gutes hotel, da aber viele Schulklassen dort absteigen ist der Lautstärkepegel manchmal sehr hoch,

“Für Kurzreisen empfehlenswert.”

Im Allgemeinen gibt es nicht viel auszusetzen. Lage des Hotels & Freundlichkeit des Personals können nicht wirklich bemängelt werden. Mängel können wir nur bezüglich der Zimmerreinigung melden. Wie aber schon gesagt, für Kurzreisen, junge Leute & keinen ständigen Aufenthalt im Hotel, ist das A&O Hotel in Friedrichshain zu empfehlen.

“Etwas ab vom Schuss, aber recht günstig”

Vom Prinzip her i.O., Preis-Leistung könnte besser sein, starker Schweißgeruch im Flur war etwas abtörnend
