“Looking forward to going back”

The location is great for anyone who enjoys a short walk to both the towns of Windsor and Eton. Be sure to request a riverfront room- the view is well worth it. I would stay there any time I am in Windsor.

“Excellent service”

Sir Christopher Wrenn's House is conveniently located in the quaint and beautiful city of Windsor, England. It is within walking distance of many attractions, shopping and restaurants. We were early arrivals two different times we stayed there, within one week of each other and the staff was extremely accomodating and caring. We were able to access our room both times before check in. We would most definately stay there if visiting the greater London area again. It is also located within 15 minutes of London Heathrow so a great overnight choice if you have an early flight to catch.

“Historic Sir Christopher Wren”

This hotel has some of the features of old age like creaking floors and noise from in and out side the hotel. That is part of the charm of staying in a histoic house. We just purposely didn't try to go to bed early. It was hot when we were there, and of course, there is no air conditioning. The staff brought us a fan and that really helped the sleep for the second night. We were in #1. No view. They said you have to reserve those rooms months in advance. Of course, they cost a lot more too. The room was charming, not large but fine. The bathroom was nice with a good shower. Everything was clean. The location was fabulous. Walk out the front door and to the left is the bridge over the Thames to Eton. To the right, walk a ways up the hill to Windsor Castle. Many restaurants and shops just outside the door. It was great. “Relaxing summer break”

Sir Christopher Wrens is a lovely hotel with a great sense of history. Our room was very comfortable overlooking the river. We spent a relaxing hour on the champagne terrace before having dinner overlooking the river. The food is superb and the service was excellent too. Apart from one blip with a rather tetchy receptionist at check in, our stay was perfect and we intend to return in winter to sample the great fire and afternoon tea, both of which looked lovely

“VERY WELL PLACED HOTEL FOR ALL WINDSOR”

ALTHOUGH HOTEL IS VERY NICE, PARKING IN THEIR CAR PARK IS MINIMAL AND YOU HAVE TO PARK IN THE STATION CAR PARK SOME WAY AWAY SO THE CARS ARE OUT OF SIGHT

“Slow down and enjoy the atmosphere”

This Hotel is a real delight. Off the beaten track and yet central to Windsor, this lovely old building has been carefully converted into a charming Hotel. The chance to eat breakfast relaxing next to the River Thames was wonderful.

“Character Hotel”

Convenient location round the corner from the Windsor & Eton Riverside Train Station and next to river. Character hotel and I had a nicely decorated room. Gym shut at 18:00 on a Sunday, so didn't have enough time to visit.

“Very comfortable stay”

Our executive room was spacious and very comfortable. The bed was huge. The bathroom really exceeded our expectations, with a vast wet room, large bath tube and his and her sinks! The only slight downside to our stay were the cold nights as the air conditioning unit was quite loud and the blanket too thin. Overall we had a really relaxing time and loved the location right by the river. Beautiful!

“Can't wait to go back”

The Sir Christopher Wrens House is a superb hotel, in beautiful position by the river in Windsor, with attentive staff only spoilt for myself and my wife by a very hard and unforgiving bed.
