Modern hotel, large room with chairs and table. So often there is only one chair in the room which means that if there are two of you one has to use the bed.
Did not have breakfast due to early start. Would definitely return.
We enjoyed this hotel, the staff are very friendly and because of that we booked another night. The food was very nice and well presented.
Special thanks to Martin (restaurant) and Rachael (reception).
Booking in was quick and to keep the kids happy there was a large Lego pit in reception and a fantastic Lego creation. I fact wherever you look there is some Lego creation it was great. The kids loved the rooms we had a pirate one first and then a kingdom room. Both were excellent but I preferred the pirate room. The children had fun solving the clues in which to open the safe with the Lego toy in and they loved having a TV in their room. The Bricks restaurant was good but as we had three nights in the hotel,we found the food repetitive as it was a buffet but it was good. The skyline bar had very good food, chosen from a menu. The buffet breakfast in the Brick restaurant was very good and had a great selection for all. . The set up by the restaurants is good, offering children to play while parents etc sit and eat or drink and still be able to see them. However there were only five X boxes to play on and nothing else, apart from the play area outside and as my children are 5 and 6 years old, they could not be left unsupervised on some of the playground structures for safety reasons. The staff at the hotel were great and nothing was too much trouble and the service in the restaurants were prompt. The hotel is set up clearly for children and my two loved the hotel and legoland. The location of legoland right at the rear of the hotel is brilliant and made everything so easy for us. I would recommend anyone to stay at the hotel.

Staying overnight at the new LEGOLAND Windsor Resort Hotel is a must for all LEGO fans. From the spectacular dragon-guarded …More
The best hotel I have ever stayed at. You can't fault it in any way at all. Staff are very friendly, food fabulous and restaurant staff can't do enough for their customers. The room was spotlessly clean. Secure underground parking. I would deffinatley recommend to anyone. We are looking to stay at Newcastle in a holiday inn in the near future if the price is right AGAIN. Money well spent. A* from us :)
Myself and my husband treat ourselves to a weekend away at least once twice a year and one of the places we always come back to after hours of web searching is this hotel , the staff are really friendly and polite the location is good and the food is delicious always fresh and hot and good quality , the rooms are clean and very large. I would say if I was being picky that the bar prices are on the high side but as it's a treat we don't mind paying them I was a little disappointed this time round that when I did go to the bar for a prosecco I was told they had none left ? but still the wine was nice they did have.
But overall as usual a great stay and would and have recommend this hotel .
Very beautiful hotel, good to stay for 1-2 days, very good restaurant. The room was very spacious, very nice, not cold (I read several comments that it was cold, but in our case. We went on 7th December, the heating was on with a heater in the room and in the restaurant). Did not get a change to get to the Oak restaurant cause its always busy, twice went to Orangery restaurant. the food was delicious. Spa facilities are good
I stayed at the Royal Berkshire while settling my daughter in boarding school. The staff was very attentive to helping me with transport and where to find things. I felt at 'home' in the evenings enjoying the offerings of dining opportunities. A very comfortable setting.

Hotel choosen due to proximity to the venue we were attending, it's close to the rail station, in the town centre, easy too find...reception was spot on, nothing was a problem, room was beyond what I thought, modern, well thought out, clean...just what we needed, you cannot fault this cheap, modern well placed hotel.
