“Holiday Inn Slough”

It was cheap through expedia for 1 night for 3 of us. The only annoying thing was that my sister and I had booked a room with 2 Queen beds, because I was going to have to share a bed with my 7 year old daughter and wanted more room as she tends to toss and turn. We were just given doubles. I didn't complain because the price and for the 1 night we were there it was ok, but wouldn't have been happy if we had been there longer.

Parking is additional, expensive breakfast. Charge too much for what offered. Bad value for the price.

“Convenient location, and comfortable hotel”

Easy hotel to find close to the M4 and within an hour's drive to central London. Not sure why a parking fee (5 pounds/day) is necessary as the car park is a good size and a car is needed to get to the hotel. Nice breakfast area and good size rooms.

The hotel was clean and convenient. Great value. Iron in room which is always good.

“Convenient and comfortable”

It was a hotel 10 mins from Wimbledon. We had telephoned in advance to inform the hotel we were going to be late due to bad weather at the tennis. On arrival later in the evening, the receptionists knew of the call and were extremely helpful in letting us know when the restaurant closed that evening; when it reopened in the morning for breakfast and how much the car parking was (£5 - secure undercover parking). On arrival in the room we were pleasantly surprised with the size of room for 3 people with two decent size comfortable beds with 'helpful' signs as to which pillows were 'hard' and which were 'soft' (with extras in the wardrobe if needed). The bathroom was clean (a little in need of a makeover) and with nice fluffy towels. The breakfast the next morning was a little chaotic with the staff in need of some direction in ensuring the buffet was 'stocked' and providing the tea/coffee 'hot' not in a luke warm state and ensuring you were aware of what you could have / how much it would cost. We were kind of left 'hanging' for a while. In the end however, the breakfast itself was very tasty. It was again only a very short drive away from historic Windsor. It was convenient, comfortable and very reasonable in cost (even with the £5 parking fee) with friendly staff in reception.

i use this hotel for work when I am in slough and Find the hotel staff extremely helpful, the only negative is the £5 per night parking which I find annoying as you are already putting money into the hotel by stopping there and Im sure a different solution could be reached to prevent non guests parking there.

“Ideal family stopover for Legoland”

We had a room with two queen beds which was ideal for my wife and I and our two eldest boys as a stop-over before the short drive down to Legoland in Windsor. The room was excellent value and the hotel was fine, although Slough wouldn't be my first choice holiday destination. Only minor gripe was the fiver parking charge and the perennial problem of hotel rooms being the temperature of lava overnight. I'd rather have a cold room and a thick quilt than feel like I'm melting. Room was quiet and had decent facilities and the hotel itself was clean with pleasant front desk staff. We were happy with what we got - a cheap bed for the night.

Stayed for whole weekend and enjoyed every bit of our stay. Hotel was very comfortable, very good location and I would definitely recommend it to my friends.
