“not impressed”

4th floor room no elevator. One rest room & shower for 7 rooms. no telephone in the room so you can receive messagaes. This is not a hotel ,but lodging house

Area recommendations
There were Holiday Inn may be more convinient

“dreadful experience”

The hotel has no elevator. I had to carry my heavy bag to the top floor by taking a very steep staircase. The hotel is old and poorly maintained. The paint is peeling in the bathroom. The towel handrail in the room is loose so that it falls each time the towel is taken from or put on it. The TV in the room is tiny. The door of the room is heavy so that it takes both hands to open it although I am a fairly big guy.

“Für eine Übernachtung in Ordnung”

Das Hotel ist nichts besonderes. Das Treppenhaus ist sehr eng, das Zimmer und das Bad sehr klein und wenig komfortabel, aber für eine Übernachtung war's in Ordnung. Das Frühstück ("Full English Breakfast") war sehr gut, das Personal freundlich.

“Gerne wieder”

Es handelt sich um ein kleines, älteres Hotel in dem man seinen Standard auf Grund des Preises von vorneherein nicht so hochstellen sollte. Für Übernachtungen reicht es allemal, da es vom Preis sehr günstig ist.

Traveller's tip
Vom Hotel aus kann gelangt man gut zu Fuß zum Bahnhof Reading. Von dort aus ist es kein Probleme mit dem Zug nach London oder Oxford zu gelangen.
