The six-story Copthorne Hotel Slough Windsor, has 219 en-suite guestrooms. We serve a seasonal and varied menu using only the finest fresh local produce and offer a great beer menu with a good selection of well priced wines. “Loved this hotel, clean comfy and modern.”
Great staff, comfy clean room, great facilities, lovely breakfast. I had a lot for the small amount of money I paid. I will return for a third visit soon. I parked on the street to save parking charges, but some packages include the hotel parking. I'll be back!!!
“Decent Hotel”
Pleasant service and nice staff. However the carpet was not that clean under the curtains in the room - I guess that be prescribed to the awkward british vacuum cleaners that are not easy to get behind furniture/in corners. And another thing: The overall cleanliness seemed good, but some dishes in the restaurant (buffet) were directly dirty.
“Stay out of necessity only”
We needed a place to stay near Burnham and this was only a few miles away. However, the hotel is not one I would consider again. Nothing was particularly bad, but the general feeling was that it was overpriced and a bit rough round the edges.

“Slow food service in bar”
We arrived late in the evening after a long flight. We were told we could order some food in the bar. So we bought some drinks and ordered some sandwiches. After waiting nearly an hour we asked when our food would arrive, at which point we discovered that the member of staff from whom we had ordered our food had forgotten to give the order to the kitchen. It was after midnight by the time we eventually got our sandwiches. Grrrrrr.
“Copthorne Hotel”
The hotel staff were extremely helpful, this included the gym staff. The bar meals were very nice. We didn't have to wait long for them either! The room was lovely and clean. We could not fault the hotel at all. Thank you Copthorne. We could see Windsor Castle from our window. Lovely at night. We wouldn't recommend Slough as a place to eat in. We decided to go back to the hotel for a very nice bar meal. instead.
“Good hotel for business or travel”
The reception staff were very polite and helpful. The room was modern, clean and comfortable- good for the price paid. Not a beautiful location, but conveinient for surrounding area, suitable for business or overnight stays for surrounding area.
“Hotel is great if you just want a clean hotel and room, for a stop over. However...”
However, if it is to stay in to get into London each day it might be wiser to choose a closer hotel and one that is in a nicer, safer area. You pay 6pounds for the taxi to get you to the train station then about 12pounds for train to London. If you have your car, you have to pay 6pounds per over night stay. Trains to london and return are fairly frequent but waiting in slough doesnt feel safe. I would recommend the hotel but I personally wouldnt go back purely for the unsafe environment.

This hotel is of a high standard especially given the price we paid. The rooms were large and well equipped. Clean, with lovely comfortable beds and plump pillows.
“Excellent hotel within easy reach of London,Windsor and Legoland”
I stayed at the Copthorne Hotel,Slough with my grandaughter and we were made most welcome. We both enjoyed the hotel's leisure facilities, pool etc. and were provided with all the little luxuries in our room which was a standard twin bedded room. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was very clean and towels changed daily. We hopefully will stay there again as being only 2 miles from the station we had day trips to London and Windsor as we had travelled by train and not by car.
