Good Centrally Located Hotel
Good hotel centrally located in Wuppertal, 5 minute from the city centre, also 2 minute walk from Kluse station on the Schweberbahn (worth a ride for the sheer strangeness of it!) Check in was straight forward. The reception is not manned overnight - I was clumsy and lost my key card when reception was closed. However, a guest managed to resolve my issue by calling the contact centre and get me a temporary card. Breakfast has a decent range of items, including cheese, meats and pancakes. Room was a good size with decent air conditioning and the option of opening the window if I so wished. Bathroom was clean with plenty of towels provided: their policy is for guests to request additional linen rather than replace daily - very eco friendly. The only thing I could pick up on was a lack of coffee making facilities in the room. That aside, very satisfied customer here. I stayed 5 nights at around €65/night which feels like great value! Would stay again.

Functional - good for a night
Efficient check in and check out; self service brekkie was average. Room was out of a container; bathroom was one of those moulded units, but it was functional. As a business traveller I'd not want to stay more than a few nights.

A place to rest
The hotel is close to the city center and in walking distance (approx. 5 minutes) to the train station. The window are sound insulated, and the room was quiet and comfortable. I recommend the optional breakfast. Overall, the hotel offers a top value, a low price for a very good performance.

Basic, but clean and a great location
We booked the hotel for its location in Wuppertal and we were not disappointed. It's very close the city centre (5/10-min walk) and close to Kluse station (2/3-min walk) if you're planning on taking the famous flying train. The hotel itself is basic, with limited amenities, but it's clean and the room was spacious. The staff were also friendly and helpful. We also made use of the car park (which costs an extra €6 per night). It was a little difficult to access when we first arrived, but we went to reception and the gate was opened. Might be worth phoning ahead if you're planning on using this service.

Excellent hotel, close to Hauptbahnhof & Schwebeba
The hotel was very nice, and it was very close to the Schwebebahn monorail station Kuse! The breakfast buffet at the hotel was excellent and was for €11. The only things we were disappointed with is that the room didn’t have a fridge or a safe.

Been there before and the 1st time it was great. The staff were great and helpful. This time the staff were not very helpful as when I asked about parking, staff said there was parking down the street instead of offering the parking across the road. It's like they didn't care and also with myself having a baby it would of been appreciated if I was told about it instead of asking the staff about it myself! Not very friendly this time around abit of a disappointment.

The parking situation here is in general as follows: There are serveral spaces in the backyard, which are given away if available, moreover we have a cooperation with the cinema on the opposite side of the road which includes a big parking garage for all our guests as well. Parking here in the backyard or at the cinemaxx costs 6,00€ per overnight stay. Hopfeully you will give us the chance to convice you of our services completely at a stay in the near future. Surprised as i have stayed in Ibis before and didn't like the rooms. But this one was good size, modern and comfortable. Good bar, friendly staff. WiFi was a bit patchy which wasn't so good for a business trip and you could hear noise from corridor and other rooms.

Good hotel in a bit detached area ...
Hotel itself was good and comfortable to stay. Room was clean. Wi-Fi was fast enogh to conduct regular business. It is a plus that a monorail station is within a walking distance. If you are a watcher of this city's famous monorail system, this hotel would be a nice choice. However, it is located a bit off centre. If you wan to enjoy a bit more vibe, you would want to explore other chocies. I was OK, though.

Economy & convenient location.
We went to Wuppertal to visit the historic Schwebebahn hanging railway. We chose the Ibis for its economical pricing and were very pleased to find it just a couple of hundred metres from the nearest Schwebebahn station and close to the city centre. Also had a very nice bar operating in the foyer in the evenings and breakfast!

Great business hotel...major construction nearby
This hotel is perfect for business accommodation. Clean and simple with a nice breakfast buffet. The nearby railway station area is undergoing extensive renovations until 2017 which, when combined with one-way traffic, makes access to the hotel very difficult from south of the river.

Nice hotel close to a Schwebebahn Station
Very convenient location. Walking distance to central shopping area. We did have a complaint about a late rowdy party going on in the room next door to ours but this was very quickly rectified by the staff on duty. Parking safe in underground garage for a small fee.

Nice stay
The hotel was easy to find, and there was lots of parking available surrounding the hotel. There is a small carpark at the hotel which is reasonably priced. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff couldn't have been any friendlier and more helpful. An enjoyable stay.

Hotel clean and in good condition. Ideal location for us. Would have been better if parking was on site, but it was only a short walk away. Plenty of restaurants around of varying cuisines so if you have an extended stay you can vary your meals.
