“Best in Bergamo as a 4 star”

This in the best 4 star hotel in Bergamo. Well placed (not near the airport, but close enought pe be there in 7 min), with a free parking and a nici terrece to drink a cofee. I recommend it for business trips and also for vacances

Near the hotel are a lot of outlets. Furniture mostly. I reccomend a tour of Bergamo by hop on - hop off buss

“Pleasant surprise!”

We stayed only one night in this hotel after 4 nights in Milan where we had a rather disappointing stay. However, on arrival at the Una Hotel Bergamo, this made up for everything. The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful, the room was huge and very clean. The decor of the hotel was lovely, fresh, and relaxing, and the price was good. The food in the hotel was amazing - compliments to the chef! Would certainly consider a return visit with a longer stay

Area recommendations

Didn't get the chance to spend time looking round Bergamo, but would like to return to see the old town since it looks very nice.

Shopping

Shopping at the Orio Centre next to the airport is worth the time.

Definitely dine in the hotel - the food is excellent.

City Alta. Both the old and new parts of the city have much to recommend them,the "new" city is a bit of a mis-nomer as it is not new just not quite as old as the old part.There is stunning architecture in both,a good selection of shopping at non-tourist prices and very good restaurants at very reasonable prices and the natives are very friendly and rightly proud of their city.

“Quite good and clean hotel”

As expected. Everything is a little bit aged, and could be refurbished. But the whole hotel is clean and comfy, breakfast is good. Beds are convinient. Receiption staff very friendly. Satellite TV only has some italian and very few foreign language channels (not main channels). Hotel can be reached easily by coach 8 (busstop in front of main door mon-fri, 5minutes away at weekends (just walk the main road about 6min in the direction of the city and turn right at the next traffic lights).

Area recommendations

City Alta (old town). Take funicular to get onto the hill, walk trough the old town and take the second funicular at the other end. Amazing view all over the whole town.

Getting there

Use local bus service. 3-day Ticket for use in the whole city, for Bergamo Airport and for both funiculars cost just 5 Euros per adult (or, as in my case, 40ct per tour as I used 13 services...).

“Good value”

Although this hotel is looking a bit tired overall it was a hotel i would return to.The location is a bit out of the town but there is a regular bus service and you are not paying premium rates for location,location,location.I do think that improvements in the form of pool would encourage more people to stay longer and they certainly have the space.The breakfast was ample and all staff were friendly and helpful.The rooms were spacious and the shower/sauna combo was amazing i have never seen one of those before.What a lovely city Bergamo is and i will encourage people to visit as not only is it close to the lakes/Milan/Venice etc but a beautiful city in its own right.

Take a trip on the second funicular railway for a great view of the city,gorgeous sunsets and great food at ristorante pizzeria san vigilio i hope i spelt that right!

“Very practical and convenient”

Hotel is modern & clean. Room was large. Hotel is outside central Bergamo, but convenient for motorway, and daily shuttle to town. Irish bar with restaurant on opposite side of road on left, serving food until past midnight (useful if arriving late)

“Das Una Hotel in Bergamo liegt ziemlich abgelegen”

Das Hotel ist sehr sauber, das Frühstücksbüffet ist für 4 Sterne etwas dürftig, das Personal sehr nett, mit der deutschen Sprache kommt man nicht sehr weit. Aber es gibt nicht wirklich etwas negatives zu sagen und man kann das Hotel nur weiterempfehlen. Wenn man aber nahe des Stadtkern sein will sollte man sich ein anderes Hotel aussuchen.

Ich würde die Altstadt empfehlen, weil Sie wunderschön im Hang gebaut ist und wunderschön ist.

“Hotel UNA Bergamo -”

Buona la posizione e la struttura. Carenze, a mio avviso, sulla gestione. In presenza di meeting si dovrebbe cercare di salvaguardare la tranquillità degli altri ospiti magari dedicandogli camere lontane dalle sale di conferenza. La risposta ad una domanda: "fino a che ora si devono sopportare le urla?" non è accettabile se si limita a: "h 00,30!" La cosapevolezza che la maleducazione dei partecipanti al meeting sia stata la principale causa di disturbo non solleva completamente l'hotel dalle proprie responsabilità Altra osservazione è in merito ai bar interni all'Hotel. Due America Bar, uno serale al piano terra e uno diurno al IV piano. Se vi capita di rientrare alla sera e di voler bere qualche cosa dovete avere la fortuna che non ci siano meeting altrimenti i bar potrebbero essere chiusi. La carenza deriva però dal fatto che recativi al Bar del piano terreno e trovato chiuso alla reception vi invitano ad andare al bar del IV piano. Solo li il personale vi informa che anche quel bar è chiuso. Se provate ad usare il servizio in camera naturalmente non vi risponde nessuno (impegnati per il meeting??). Ricontattata la reception scoprite che l'unica soluzione è di recarvi in un vicino bar.
