“Good Choice if you travel by car”

I liked this hotel very much The staff was very helpfull. The hotel is not new but in excellent conditions. The room was a little bite small but was very clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was good. There is free parking lot infront of the hotel. I do reccomend this hotel to people who have cars.

“A bit dated and out of the way”

This hotel is about a 20 min walk into the centre of Bergamo. It is not located in a particularly nice area and there are much nicer hotels in the centre. The rooms were ok and clean enough but the restaurant was very disappointing. Its is very dated and in need of some upkeep.

“Good value for the money”

Good, clean hotel, with very good services. Bad accessability by public transport. Mostly must walk from the train station, what is 1 mile roughly.

“One of the best in Bergamo”

This is a nice hotel, for business trips. The rooms are small, but clean. Very close to the airport. The night bar and the restaurant have a very short program. They close before midnight, so take care.

Near Bergamo is a small town, called Orly. You'll find there some nice restaurants with late programs. Very good italian food and seafood

“Great Hotel but a little out of town”

This hotel was well worth the money although a little out of town, but only about 20 mins to walk in ok during the day but after a meal and a few drinks in the evening may be a problem for some! Good resturants around are opposite the Pizzeria Portofino although across the dual carriageway well worth walking to and good value! near to the hotel is the Roadhouse Grill ok if you like steaks but not at all Italian. In the upper town try da Franco ristorante pizzeria excellent food and litres of house wine ok.

Traveller's tip

When arriving at the airport go to the tourist office to the left after baggage reclaim and buy a three day unlimited pass on the buses/finiculars for only 5 Euros each

“Hotel forse un po' decentrato ma sicuramente valido”

l'hotel è forse un po' decentrato e per chi non dispone di un mezzo proprio potrebbe presentare qualche problema; devo però dire ad onore dell'hotel che è previsto un servizio di taxi (/senza alcuna spesa!) che ad orari prestabiliti ma rispondenti alla maggior parte delle esigenze porta alla stazione centrale e quindi in città. Del resto, con un po' di adattamento si può arrivare alla stazione e quindi a tutti i mezzi puibblici anche a piedi, bastano quindici minuti di passo normale. E' abbastanza vicino all'aeroporto ma ci vuole il taxi perchè i mezzi pubbilici non si fermano nelle vicinanze. Collocato a lato, ma non direttamente, della tangenziale, è anche abbastanza poco soggetto al rumore del traffico e questo non è da poco. Nel complesso ben tenuto ed anche con un buon rapporto qualità/prezzo; consigliabile per viaggi di affari o di lavoro

“STARHOTEL CRISTALLO - negativo”

Avendo fatto il check out molto presto non abbiamo usufruito del servizio breakfast: abbiamo preso solo dell'acqua minerale (bottiglietta da 500 ml) dal frigobar al costo di euro 4!!!
