Christmas at The Marina Hotel was excellent value for money. We booked 4 rooms (8 adults) staying on a full board basis. The price we paid, did not include Gala Dinner - however we were given the option to pay an additional fee per person on arrival at reception, but opted not to do this. We were, however, catered for in the normal dining area and served a 4 course christmas meal, at our tables with wine etc included. We thought this was excellent and it made us feel quite special.

The resort is beautiful, massive rooms well equipped and a free and well-stocked minibar (although it was not really replenished as promised). The beds are twins which is always a bit annoying if you are travelling in a couple but seems to be a popular option in Europe. The view of the bay from the balcony is stunning and the balcony is very generously sized.
The facilities in the Levels Lounge are very good and we enjoyed the complimentary cocktail hour each night, with a nice variety of drinks and snacks.
The pools are scrupulously clean, and everything in the resort seems well maintained. The heated pool is a great touch.
Overall we really loved the resort and would definitely return. Although it was not peak season and therefore was generally quieter anyway, the adults only aspect is such a plus and I wish that more hotels would do it.
Hotel staff friendly but not always good with information( booked in but was not told I needed a key for the safe, which meant another trip to reception). Pool and surrounding area very clean and tidy, plenty of sun beds available each day. Lovely garden surroundings with ample areas to shade from sun.
Just returned from 4 nights at the Gran Hotel Bali, had a lovely stay. The hotel is in the quieter part of Benidorm which was nice during the day and it is only a bus or taxi ride to all the night life.
The staff were very helpful and friendly, the hotel was very clean and the pools were lovely with no problem getting a sunbed and brolly.
Would definitely stay there again
I could not fault this hotel!
The rooms were cleaned to a very high standard everyday, the staff were exceptional and the facilities were very good. The evening entertainment was varied and kept the children happy. The assortment of food was very good and well presented, we will be booking again!
My husband and I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in mid September. We arrived very early on our first day, at 10.30am and the hotel were very helpful and let us check in early and go to the room by 11am. The usual check in time is 3pm.
The hotel facilities are very nice, and the hotel design really does make it feel like a Mediterranean village. The swimming pool was massive and very nice. We had our pick of sun loungers as the hotel was not very busy, but I have seen from other reviews that the hotel and pool area is very busy doing peak times.
The buffet breakfast was included in our room rate and we really enjoyed this. The selection was plentiful and included hot items, cold meats and cheese, fruit, cereal, pastries and toast etc.
We ate at the Spanish Tapas restaurant in the evening twice and the Italian restaurant once. Both restaurants offered excellent food and service and we thought the prices were very reasonable for this standard of hotel.
All members of staff that we dealt with were very friendly and helpful. They didn't all speak English fluently but we got by.
What I didn't realise was that the hotel offered free parking for guests. If I had known that I would have booked us a hire car as the taxi charges to and from the hotel were expensive at Euro 70 each way.
The hotel is about a 10 min taxi ride from Benidorm.
I would definitely stay at this hotel again for a few days in the sun......but I wouldn't bother leaving the hotel to check out Benidorm!
Staff were all very friendly. The food was varied and of a high standard. Our room was large had a free safe a fridge a tv with some English channels. There was no rush to get sunbeds so we were always able to find beds to sunbathe. Chema the entertainments guy was great fun and organised activities each day for guests that wanted to participate. The hotel was spotless close to the old town but still within walking distance of the new towns nightlife. Our stay was fantastic and we will be back to this well run well facilitated friendly hotel.
