Myself and 3 adult daughters had a great holiday in Benidorm. The Benimar apartments are perfectly located close to the beach and shops. They are basic but immaculate with good facilities and I would fully recommend them to anyone whose thinking of holidaying there. The manageress was brilliant! I

Was not expecting much at all from this hotel after reading most of the reviews on trip advisor but to be fair this hotel is not that bad. We found that the staff...cleaners/security were very friendly and the place was basic but clean and really well located. The only big down side is the lack of air con, however this seemed to be the story for other hotels in the area that our friends were staying at. Oh and the lifts really aren't as bad as everyone makes out. Considering there are ao many floors the 3 lifts do a pretty decent job of getting to you in less than 3 mins max. Our full deposit was refunded in a day no problem at all. The inly thing I would say is that this place is not suitable for families with young kids.

We were really pleased to get our usual room with a balcony overlooking the busy shopping street and a sea view. The room is always clean and tidy and there's everything you need for a good self catering holiday and all at a very reasonable price.
Superb apartments with wonderful views across Levante beach. Ivan very helpful, friendly and always on hand if needed. Once keys delivered to us, we were left completely to our own devices. No cleaners troubling you but all facilities available to wash, cook, clean and even a dish washer. Very peaceful location and as previous guests have stated, the climb to apartments could be a challenge for the less fit. Old town of Benidorm good walk away but well worth the effort. Look out for the typically Spanish restaurants tucked away in the side streets. Pop on a bus to Altea, Calpe and Villa Joysa- all are worth a visit if you like the real Spain and a bit of peace and quiet.
A note of caution, car Hire expensive at airport and they really will try to rip you off. Will definitely return to Paraiso Lido.

This hotel is situated at the top of a long, steep hill. We started to take the car to the bottom of the hill to avoid the 15 minute hike on the way back each day.
We had a fantastic room on the 34 floor, with amazing views of benidorm. The beds were not the most comfortable, and the hot water didn't last out for a full single shower, a pain given the apartment was meant to sleep 6 people.
There isn't a reception at the don Jorge, and guests have to go to a neighbouring hotel (with another steep hill) hotel for service. Staff were very accommodating though, and quickly moved us room when the first one was flooded when we arrived.
All in al, if you have a car, or calfs like an Olympic runner and can cope with the hill getting to the hotel, then this hotel is fine, if not, slightly over priced.

My advice to anyone who is going to book this...pay a bit extra and stay somewhere else.Noisy outside at night,Hotel itself is very dated and really needs upgrading. Also noticed that the local dossers come up to the snack bar eary in the morning for breakfast...shouldnt be allowed.
